09/1/2017 07:40 | Yes, hopefully the strong second half will continue, benefiting from the extra capacity coming online at Walton. | battlebus2
09/1/2017 07:12 | and here is the update ....... Zotefoams has experienced a particularly strong end to the year with sales growth of approximately 13% in the second half, benefitting from growth in HPP sales and favourable FX rates. During the second half of the year Zotefoams continued to increase resources in Distribution and Administration to support expected growth opportunities in 2017 and beyond. Our investment in global capacity in Walton, Kentucky, USA remains on target to be operational in H1 2017. The Board expects to report an outcome in line with market expectations for the year ended 31 December 2016. The Company expects to announce preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2016 on Tuesday 14 March 2017. | janeann
06/1/2017 15:22 | The capx is mostly in the US where they are putting in a high-pressure vessel. These take a long time to make and ship, then install and test. It will save them shipping unexpanded foam across the pond and will free up capacity in Croydon. There has also been various bits of cutting equipment and other bits purchased. They will get a lift from the weak£ but as 70% of the net exposure is hedged up to 9 months ahead it will take time to fully work through. We ard due an update very soon. | exbroker
06/1/2017 14:27 | I also think globally, input costs are rising with oil and those that have been resting on their laurels may have a rude awakening. Price wise am stunned the share price has not returned to the pre brexit levels now we know manufacturing is indeed seeing sharp currency led growth. Perhaps this one is currently being overlooked ? | my retirement fund
06/1/2017 14:21 | Yea they are one of a number of manufactures of these various materials around the world and they are saying their capex which results like for like productivity improvement for lower production costs (and one assumes coupled with currency advantages) ensures they'll be selling more stuff. I think the thing to remember here is that whilst supply may remain globally constant, individual demand at a business to business level is always going to be price led. | my retirement fund
06/1/2017 13:51 | Started to look at this and I have a question. After reading the reports my main question is why a company with annual t/o of $60 spending $30m to expand when 2016 demand for their products appears muted? From the last Prelims: "We target sales growth in our core Polyolefin business in excess of twice the average rate of global GDP growth." From the last Interims: "Overall sales volumes [of Polyolefins in H1:2016] were at similar levels to 2015" Usually companies have a demand pipeline and then capex investment follows. I tried to find current production capacity data, but couldn’t. | ptolemy
06/1/2017 08:55 | Joint venture with King lia acquired, should be all to the good but no numbers as to the cost of the deal. | battlebus2

04/1/2017 22:58 | 2017 looks quite a key year surely?, having committed to the large CAPEX it will be interesting to see if revenue develops as they hope/expect. | essentialinvestor
04/1/2017 22:41 | I had a wander around the factory and a chat to David a few weeks ago. Everything seems ok, this year has been one of consolidation and building infrastructure as well as continuing new product development. I am a long-term holder having been in the stock for 10 years already, I am in no hurry to exit. The longer I hold it the more I will make!! | exbroker
21/12/2016 22:10 | I'm hoping gleach23 that it rebounds strongly next year, so much potential and highly rated.Might even make a new year tip around this price. | geraldus
21/12/2016 21:14 | Good luck geraldus - let's hope 2017 is not as dull a year as 2016. The dullest stock I have owned this year and therefore the one most testing my patience | gleach23
21/12/2016 17:07 | Had some of these this week as it has eased back ahead of the trading update mid January.Hoping for a payback next year on their large investment in new products and markets. | geraldus

04/11/2016 12:14 | Hi janeann There has been a seller around from one of the big houses, and the buyers have been happy to sit and watch. I might buy some at 255 having sold some to the index funds last June at 330+. The currency should help them a lot, but most is hedged 9 months out so will be in next year’s figures. Lots of interesting contacts being negotiated and they are developing moulding to increase the efficiency of the product for certain applications. If they get it right it will cut cost sharply and open lots of new markets. Your trainers will soon have a ZTF bit of foam in them!!! | exbroker
31/10/2016 06:50 | Thanks Woody (I agree) | condom2
30/10/2016 20:35 | It's not AIM it's FTSE small cap. Many US stocks are way over priced at present. More importantly it appears they mat be struggling to meet delivery of fourth quarter order intake due to capacity restraints, that can only be good for the business in the long term and the new plant coming on line in 2017 will be of great benefit. keep adding on dips woody | woodcutter
28/10/2016 08:28 | The Problem is that short money has struggled to find a home for a while now,and Aim has been such an obvious candidate. For example .Short uk Aim long Russell group 2000 etc ....... | condom2
28/10/2016 06:46 | certainly seems that way condom - but why unless someone trying to buy it on the cheap. Wonder what happened to exbroker - he always seemed to have a finger on the pulse of this one? | janeann
28/10/2016 06:43 | Normally you would expect so, but this has been manipulated down for sometime now. | condom2
28/10/2016 06:39 | Yes very happy janeann, bearing the fruits of the US operation. | battlebus2 |
