01/11/2017 07:12 | Lovely stuff..... "Zotefoams is pleased to report continued strong trading during the third quarter, maintaining the momentum of organic sales growth experienced in the first half of the year. Full year revenues expected to be ahead of market expectations ·Adjusted profit before tax and exceptional items for the year ending 31 December 2017 expected to be at the top end of the range of market expectations" And: "Management continues to invest in its strong portfolio of growth prospects and to manage the higher growth rates of early stage opportunities. The order book for the fourth quarter gives confidence that the Company will exceed market expectations for Group revenue and therefore, at current foreign exchange rates, the Board expects adjusted profit before tax and exceptional items for the year ending 31 December 2017 to be at the top end of the range of market expectations. Commenting on the update David Stirling, Group CEO of Zotefoams, said: "We are delighted with the strong organic growth achieved across all business units during the third quarter of 2017. Our ambition is to establish ourselves as the world leader in cellular materials technology in our chosen markets. To achieve this ambition, we are investing significantly in new equipment and enhanced business capability. The Board is confident of another year of positive progress and about the long-term prospects for the business." | rivaldo
31/10/2017 11:23 | Cheers philanderer, good stuff. I'm liking the article's pay-off line: "In the medium-term, though, green concerns are only going to rise. Zotefoams’ relatively clean technology has a good chance of being a huge winner. How long before a goliath such as Dow Chemicals comes in with a bid?" | rivaldo

05/9/2017 15:56 | Thanks, rivaldo I had a meeting with David and Garry after the figures and they seemed very relaxed, lots of things in the pipeline. We know that these things always take longer than you think to start making significant amounts of money but I am a long-term holder (12 Years so far) and happy to see where this company end up. | exbroker
05/9/2017 14:52 | Looks like new highs now. Well done Exbroker. Unfortunately I have only an average-sized holding in these. Though it's getting larger all the time! | rivaldo
05/9/2017 12:39 | There is institutional buying interest at the lower levels, the market where bidding 352 earlier for 25k, I don’t know if they are short or have a buyer. Happy days I have a lot of these! | exbroker
05/9/2017 10:49 | I'd be happy with a takeout at 450/500 😉 did you mention that. | battlebus2
05/9/2017 10:42 | LOL! Cheeky git. That's 3 posts already today. Right - no more for September then. Unless the price surges again. Or there's news. Or....oh, I give up. | rivaldo
05/9/2017 10:20 | It's always been a quiet thread Rivaldo until you came along 😉 | battlebus2

17/8/2017 14:52 | Good coverage here: Conclusion: "Earnings are forecast to grow 20 per cent next year and 15 per cent in 2019. Zotefoams is a nice organic growth story and has enjoyed a premium rating on its stock to reflect this. Over the long term the shares have done well but they got ahead of the game in 2015 when they hit 360p and traded on a p/e of over 30. Having consolidated for a couple of years the shares now look more reasonably valued on a multiple of 15 times 2019 earnings." | rivaldo
08/8/2017 12:10 | Great company and great management. One to stick away and forget about. | sirgainalot
08/8/2017 09:42 | Seems to be ticking along.Looks like Kentucky has slipped back a bit more and will be good to see the China set up actually firing on all cylinders.Plenty to go for, will be holding. | geraldus
08/8/2017 07:23 | Couldn't agree more Rivaldo, after initial read I feel more optimistic than I've done for several years. Dividend increased again also a plus 👍 | battlebus2
08/8/2017 07:18 | Very encouraging interims - good numbers and a confident outlook going forward. What's particularly impressive is that they're achieving these numbers at a time of large, global investment and write-off of related costs (plus increased pension provision). They've benefited from currency movements, but growth in constant currency is still good: "Current Trading and Prospects In our AZOTE® Polyolefin Foams business, trading has continued strongly through July 2017 and the order book remains strong. Foreign exchange rates are currently at similar levels to those experienced in the second half of 2016 and therefore we anticipate no significant transactional impact for the remainder of the year. Indications are that pricing of LDPE will remain at a similar level to the first six months of this year. In our HPP business, we expect second-half growth to revert to our long-term growth trend expectations, after a very strong growth rate in the first half. In MEL, we expect to make continued progress in converting existing lines into production and benefit from the corresponding royalty income. Outlook We enter the second half of the year with a strong order book, a differentiated product portfolio, continued growth expectations across all business units and looking forward to commissioning our Walton, Kentucky, USA facility, which will increase global capacity by approximately 20%. The Group continues to trade in line with the Board's expectations and the Board remains confident in the long-term prospects for the business." | rivaldo |
