09/3/2017 22:13 | For some strange reason they have blocked me on twitter, anyone else in similar position. Bit strange as I was only ever promoting them and they did respond and retweet some posts. | battlebus2

09/3/2017 11:46 | janeann That is the standard model for Mucell deals, it’s about the cost and weight reduction and the volumes could be huge, expect more details with the figures. Dozey3 I don’t know if it is easier to recycle polypropylene but it can’t be worse than polystyrene. They can use the Mucell technology to foam biodegradable packaging. | exbroker
09/3/2017 09:15 | Saw no mention of recycling. Polystyrene is a nuisance, but is this new material easier to dispose of? | dozey3
09/3/2017 07:43 | well it sounds promising but I just hope ZTF get sufficient out of it ....... Under the terms of the agreement, MuCell Extrusion LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zotefoams plc, has licensed its technology to Coveris with a fee payable as a percentage of cost savings. | janeann
09/3/2017 07:35 | Yes, great news.A disruptive solution that is cheaper, greener aimed at an established market and all on licence. | geraldus

09/1/2017 17:02 | Regret not getting a few more now, small purchase Friday, could not get any under 2.50 and hesitated buying a larger amount as unsure if revenue would develop as forecast through 2017. Today's statement looks solid. | essentialinvestor

09/1/2017 07:40 | Yes, hopefully the strong second half will continue, benefiting from the extra capacity coming online at Walton. | battlebus2
09/1/2017 07:12 | and here is the update ....... Zotefoams has experienced a particularly strong end to the year with sales growth of approximately 13% in the second half, benefitting from growth in HPP sales and favourable FX rates. During the second half of the year Zotefoams continued to increase resources in Distribution and Administration to support expected growth opportunities in 2017 and beyond. Our investment in global capacity in Walton, Kentucky, USA remains on target to be operational in H1 2017. The Board expects to report an outcome in line with market expectations for the year ended 31 December 2016. The Company expects to announce preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2016 on Tuesday 14 March 2017. | janeann
06/1/2017 15:22 | The capx is mostly in the US where they are putting in a high-pressure vessel. These take a long time to make and ship, then install and test. It will save them shipping unexpanded foam across the pond and will free up capacity in Croydon. There has also been various bits of cutting equipment and other bits purchased. They will get a lift from the weak£ but as 70% of the net exposure is hedged up to 9 months ahead it will take time to fully work through. We ard due an update very soon. | exbroker
06/1/2017 14:27 | I also think globally, input costs are rising with oil and those that have been resting on their laurels may have a rude awakening. Price wise am stunned the share price has not returned to the pre brexit levels now we know manufacturing is indeed seeing sharp currency led growth. Perhaps this one is currently being overlooked ? | my retirement fund
06/1/2017 14:21 | Yea they are one of a number of manufactures of these various materials around the world and they are saying their capex which results like for like productivity improvement for lower production costs (and one assumes coupled with currency advantages) ensures they'll be selling more stuff. I think the thing to remember here is that whilst supply may remain globally constant, individual demand at a business to business level is always going to be price led. | my retirement fund
06/1/2017 13:51 | Started to look at this and I have a question. After reading the reports my main question is why a company with annual t/o of $60 spending $30m to expand when 2016 demand for their products appears muted? From the last Prelims: "We target sales growth in our core Polyolefin business in excess of twice the average rate of global GDP growth." From the last Interims: "Overall sales volumes [of Polyolefins in H1:2016] were at similar levels to 2015" Usually companies have a demand pipeline and then capex investment follows. I tried to find current production capacity data, but couldn’t. | ptolemy |
