ZOO Digital has just reached the 100 million mark delivering subtitled TV series and movies for the biggest names in the media and entertainment industry. This reinforces the company’s position as a leading provider of global media production and management services.

ZOO Digital provides foreign language subtitling and captioning in all global languages and distribution formats for the six major Hollywood studios. A global network of native translators is connected in the cloud and powered by ZOO technology for a smarter, faster and more cost-effective subtitling service.

ZOO combines both production and media management services to offer a highly efficient, end-to-end service. As well as preparing new subtitles for worldwide release, existing content can be stored securely and accessed easily. It means that subtitled movie and TV content can be rapidly repurposed for distribution with online retailers like iTunes, Netflix, Amazon and Google Play, all in a few clicks.

News section of the website updated today, Zoo are attending the NABshow in LA 18-21st of April. This will be the 3rd trade show in as many months. Great to see us getting our message out to a wider audience. This reassures me that we are aggressively going for growth. Bring on that trading update.

Looks like there will not be a trading update until April.

I am expecting some kind of announcement next week. Hopefully an RNS about good trading, but at the very least some good PR on passing the 1m mark.

As a side thought, at what stage do you think they will want to start paying a dividend? With finances improving by $1m per annum, maybe they can start thinking about it.

There you have it, 100,030,000 subtitles and captions created and stored on the ZOO cloud system. Lets hope they use this to their advantage with a bit of PR today. An RNS would be great but I think we will just get a news storey on the Website. Possibly a trading update next week?

Should reach 100m tomorrow: my guess is an RNS on Friday or Monday with a trading update.

Any hint that they are trading well and likely to exceed market expectations (whatever they are!) should see the share price rise nicely. Note that the small volume of trades today has seen a reasonable uplift.

I sometime do the following to get a picture of how things are progressing:

End of last year:
Current Assets = $2,243k
Liabilities = $8,589k
Net Assets (excluding non current assets) = -$6,346k

At the interims:
Current Assets = $2,901k
Liabilities = $8,723k
Net Assets (excluding non current assets) = -$5,822k

So the finances have improved by $524k

If they improve by another $500k at the finals that is $1m per annum.

Market Cap of company = GBP 3.2m

Go figure!

Ticker now at 99,648,000 which means we put on 400,000 yesterday. Should get to 100,000,000 by the end of tomorrow.

I have noticed many 50,000 sales go through over the last few weeks. Who it is, who knows? However, there may also be some traders who have bought in anticipation of the trading update, but have to sell due to timing. Again, who knows?

I am happy to wait.
