With regards to the ticker.....How much does each tick give ZOOsubs in £$$£$£$£$£$....

Another tick down, trouble is with stocks like this people ( punters ) who dived in thinking it was a nailed on long get bored & sell out & move on.....

MM's will just drag it striaght back down without caring about latest RNS.....

Ticker is looking like a 4million month. Should be celebrating 50+million in time for April trading statement. Hopefully the shorter will have left by then!
Price mid teens by then IMHO

The market was valuing Zoo @ 10p before the BBC announcement through growth of Subs, the ticker is still inline with this improvement.

Who would have thought it....

With the BBC on board the share price should be flying with such a small m/cap co....

hhhhmmmm

No numbers mentioned & no sign of any profit from this deal....

Tumble weed is going by & this is not a buy.

Sorry if nobody agrees with me.

Anyone suggesting I need to log in as multiple users is simply deluded, I have been in this game since 2004 & never needed to use a different name, I post as I see it. Am I short, have never shorted a stoCk in my life, but looking back at my posts I could have done very nicely over the years.

Be lucky to all & figures are required, had they have come forward with numbers on the previous RNS then this would never have come back down, market knows there is no profit in tis deal. Will it bring on-board other co's who knows....

Sad sad sad. The lies people say to make money .This share and the company are what they are. Noise will not affect the fundementals . I hold and wait . I have patience .I am happy . Chesty and your alter ego have an agenda. Patience and time will provide the answer . Until then be happy.

just trying to understand or see where ZOO fits in the media handling food chain...

and whether it can be integrated in to a bigger media editting/handling system

and whether I think that is a good position or not.

----

How ZOOcore fits in to the structure of handling media.....in the overall sequence between using 10 cameras to record video....and it being sent down a cable on VOD or put on a DVD.....is imo ..important.

Seems like no one knows, incl me.
----

and also trying to understand the H1 results and what they really mean....
trying to see thru the co. blah blah blah is not easy.
big turnover increase....but the rest of the nos. are worst than one would expect imo for such a turnover increase....
...I'd like to try to understand the reality behind it....

will H1 profitability be better ?
or will it be worse since turnover is lower ?

and chance of generating cash..this year and on-going (noting that ZOO has a history of consuming more and more cash, from investors viewpoint, that doesnt attract me)..since even with very good H1 for turnover...the cash generation numbers are imo bad.

----

for most of the above pts. I have no view....just starting to try to fathom it out

thanks for your post

"As I said, take a look at a collaboration platform like AlFresco and it should all be crystal clear how cloud-based collaboration software works."

I can NOT see ANY similarity with ZOO or ZOOcore !!.

As far as I know ZOOcore is NOT a collaboration platform such as you infer, such as Open office or Wikipedia. Where different people work for free to create something.
Nothing to do with having an existing software package like ZOOcore or ZOOsub that can be accessed and USED via the internet.

or maybe we are miscommunicating...never easy via a message board and keyboards

I am using ADVFN to post this....which provides some tools, msg brd, charts etc accessed via the net. but it is NOT a collaboration software. It is a shared resource or shared system. very different. users collaborate to share information and discuss things. imo in similar way to users of ZOOcore. Or am I missing the plot completely about ZOOcore/ZOOsubs !!?

Where as I have been a member since

Sorry for being negative here, I just feel ZOO are actually going to be out of pocket from this deal....

Anyone who thinks the BBC approached ZOO because they are the best is deluded to say the least.....

Happy to be proven wrong.

thanks for your reply/info

are you saying that editting 'tools' or media manipulation tools can be uploaded and used on the ZOO system ?

(personally I would doubt that)

at present there are MAM systems (media editting etc to make finished main video/audio files) and media archives/storeage systems......I cant see how ZOOcore interfaces with these

at the moment I am guessing that finished main video/audio file would be uploaded to ZOOcore (cloud) .....subtitled...and then downloaded back to the MAM or archive ....but I dont know

(the flow of things is important imo....in modern world anything that isnt sitting comfortably in the main flow or workflow....likely to get ditched/bypassed !)

----

or in real terms
Pilat Media systems handle film/video media....and much higher turnover than ZOO...
Can the ZOOcore system be integrated into Pilat Media software systems (as a module, they have modules that can be selected or not as wished )??
----

I see Disney and Warner using ZOO stuff..which is good..but I dont see it turning into profits in the bottom line....difficult to see if profitability will improve (why didnt it in H1, imo the accounts dont really explain it in an understandable way, not that any excuse that makes sense to me anyway)......turnover up in H1 but the cash generation numbers are poor imo
