Strange Sparky goes quiet when gas price tanks, also that even its high doesn't meet the average for last year....likewise even if it hits its forecast of 91p in 12 months time the average for 2024 will be well below the 2023 average. Not that any of us will actually know what this impact will be on YU numbers as they hedge on forward contracts (but Sparky seems obsessed with it so thought I'd play along!). That said it should be borne in mind that forecast eps growth this FY is minimal.

Agreed - just going through the annual report again and it shows how well they have done and are on course to keep exceeding expectations.
Be good if a TU came out tomorrow to confirm this as the now,now,now brigade will continue to exert pressure.
That NT bloke is a PITA with his newsletter and band of sheep at times.

Albeit frustrating Sparky, TU only needs to be issued if trading is above forecast, by how much I'm not sure. Let's look on the positive side ,the other board has not posted today

This is Deja vu to last year and the share price crashed when no TU with the AGM, 10 days later TU issued.If no TU tomorrow or next week I expect the bears will rip into the share price

By the book YU only have to report H1 and FY Therefore if no TU, Late Sept for business update Which is nearly 10 months into the year, not good enough in my eyes.

I guess it's business as usual. They're not even obliged to put one out, but they normally do.
Compare that to some dogs that don't ever put one out, just results (that are useless) followed by the begging bowl RNS.
I hope they do, but also prepared for nothing until July, where it could all come out in a nice package with the other stuff.

Hopefully tomorrow, Sparky - Thursday is one of their preferred days. Traders have their 37p, lol.
Court arrangement meeting on Friday.
One step closer to that £2/share DCR.
More positions filled also I noticed.

YU its own worst enemy yet again as the share price drops away under low volume. Month 6 of 2024 and we are still effectively in the dark on how the year is progressing with some meat on the bones over and above, 2024 has started strongly.

SparkyThanks for that link.But it's still not close to the 2023 average of c 95p/therm....and we are already 6 months into the year.Plus as I keep saying, you don't know what their hedged price is or even if they are buying on the market (unlikely but we don't know).
