10/6/2024 16:56 | How's the short going lol | ![]() bobaxe1
09/6/2024 12:34 | From a HO job description - don't think BK has any plan to let the company go anytime soon imho :- 'It would be desirable if you had energy industry experience, but this is not essential. Our company is growing at a rapid pace so it’s an exciting opportunity to join an organisation which can offer a long-term future career.' GLAGI. | ![]() daveboy19
07/6/2024 11:37 | Few sniffing around YU as our valuations get more stupid by the day. | ![]() sparky333

07/6/2024 09:07 | Yep, astounding and only going to get bigger and more 'progressive'. Imagine the figures if they hit anywhere like that 7-8% medium term target. This cash achieved with 1.4%. | ![]() daveboy19
06/6/2024 21:09 | Just to remind folks , the net cash here at the end of 2023 equated to £ 4.89 per share ( so our 37p per share in a fortnight will hardly dent that pile ) . Putting it another way , the overall net cash position had leapt from £ 19 M at the end of 2022 to £ 81.9 M at the end of 2023 . | ![]() mrnumpty
06/6/2024 16:31 | Their info from the annual report:- ' '5. Shareholder returns • Dividend increasing on a sustainable basis, broadly aligned with earnings and to c.3x dividend cover • Share buy-back and/or special dividend to the extent surplus cash exists and distributable reserves are sufficient.' Tasty. | ![]() daveboy19
06/6/2024 15:55 | Special divi has its pluses and minuses. Say we all get a quid a share, then you can bet your bottom dollar that will come off the share price once paid. I would prefer maybe a one off one, coupled with buy backs as that ultimately gives greater value. Having said that, there's numerous scenarios in play, but so far so good from YU. | ![]() cocker
06/6/2024 14:33 | Thanks for confirming what he said I had missed that but I do agree. On the dividend topic they have finally added the 37p divi in the financials here. So the divi cover now about 4.6 times covered. | ![]() fidra
06/6/2024 13:54 | Yep - totally agree. He kind of intimated that by saying that a July update would be much more 'substantive' was his wording..therefore, ties in with what we've seen and know. It also states clearly in the yearly review that a special is on the cards after the court hearing adds the £12.28M to the DCR in early July, so makes sense to combine it all then I concur. Start planning how to spend that dividend - unlike most everybody else on AIM ! | ![]() daveboy19
06/6/2024 13:43 | Thanks for that daveboy19. I was of the view this was more likely seeing what they put out recently. It looked like a decent holding job till they can get 6 months numbers. They will have quite a lot to say in July, apart from a trading statement. As we all know there is the court date, and hopefully an announcement of a Special dividend. Suppose other things like buy backs may happen, share split, I think in July we will be at a new all time high, after the publication of the above information. We have not heard anything different really from the company other than things are going very well. | ![]() fidra
06/6/2024 13:36 | Can only go so low before the valuation becomes so stupid it borders on insanity. But then again the markets are weird and wonderful places that valued debt ridden loss making companies at insane valuation let companies like YU oozing cash and the fast growing company in the sector on a PE of 9. | ![]() sparky333
06/6/2024 13:17 | Thanks daveboy More time for this to drift back then! | ![]() gswredland
06/6/2024 11:48 | Not much going on here.Still believe Bobbys private placing at £17 is on the cards at some point, we will see. | ![]() disc0dave46
06/6/2024 11:48 | Yep - I even e-mailed them direct to ask... Edit - reply received. It says no update until July like I hinted at yesterday. | ![]() daveboy19
06/6/2024 09:13 | It's fine as the PE gets more and more ludicrous, volume has been pitiful for weeks now.YU PR at its best. Falls and very little, ergo will rise on very little | ![]() sparky333
