25/5/2024 12:16 | I can see your thinking on those points - it's a natural progression to what they have laid out in the company handbook notes. The 34.5 million pounds is only a modest proportion of what we know they have accrued. That leaves a lot of capital to expand and grow exponentially as they state in there on several occasions. One of the main reasons often given as the downside of paying a special dividend is that it can be construed as representing a company having no growth ambitions - well here it is coming out of their ears to do both admirably! Plus what we don't yet know about for H1. I've seen the jobs advertised and getting filled as a further clue to their intentions and it's nationwide. H2 will be an enlightening and enriching experience imho! GLAGI. | ![]() daveboy19
24/5/2024 23:32 | disc0dave46 You clearly are reading my posts :) You also clearly live in La La land!. Don’t you understand my previous point?. The number of meter points and / or customers, and their growth, is fundamentally massive in terms of income generation - it’s the huge volume of energy they will be supplying, that’s their core business, don’t you understand that?, obviously not. The volume of energy they supply has increased exponentially, much higher than the headline numbers they love to be modest about to the market(please correct me if you can - of course you definitely won’t will you!). | ![]() markiemark321
24/5/2024 22:56 | disc0dave46 “The only way to shut up next door is for YU to keep on doing what it’s doing.” Why would that “shut me up”?, you are completely delusional. You are obsessed and it’s clear to me that when I challenge the false and ridiculous info and views you post up that you immediately respond and claim to filterme (because you read what I’m posting) on a personal level because you are incapable of defending or supporting those views with any evidence simply because it’s all completely false!. | ![]() markiemark321
24/5/2024 22:11 | SparkyYou clearly are reading my posts :)You also clearly live in La La land!.Don't you understand my previous point?.The number of meter points and / or customers, and their growth, is fundamentally irrelevant in terms of income generation - it's the volume of energy they will be supplying, that's their core business, don't you understand that?, obviously not. The volume of energy they supply as not increased anywhere near as high as the headline numbers they love to spout to the market, in fact they don't even give a growth figure and previously it's not even mentioned from what I can see (please correct me if you can - of course you definitely won't will you!). | ![]() disc0dave46
24/5/2024 20:53 | Sparky"How many news clients 53500 end of Dec I reckon 65,000-70,000 by the end of H1 and game on in H2 for the push to 100,000 by year end."Perhaos you can confirm that it's meter points or new customers?, also how much energy are they forecasting they will be supplying to their customers / meter points (which are completely different), their supply of energy is the primary factor to growth in earnings not how many more meters or customers - strange a business that actually sells energy has no forecast I can find in what their medium / long term targets are for the volume of energy they sell. | ![]() disc0dave46
24/5/2024 20:49 | SparkySo according to you British Gaa are losing business customers - Nope.According to you all the energy switchers will have gone to YU and they won't have lost any customers.According to Neil the pizza delivery boy they now supply Pizza HutAccording to you there won't be an increase in business solvency's and it won't effect YU.According to you, YU / Shell now don't use a forward hedging strategy despite the fact that the deal just signed up, but instead are buying on the market and at a price below what they are charging customers - but can't post up any evidence to support this garbage / fantasy. | ![]() disc0dave46
24/5/2024 20:17 | DD very active yet again, what a miserable life he leads.Tick tock tick tock to trading update Let play a game How many news clients 53500 end of Dec I reckon 65,000-70,000 by the end of H1 and game on in H2 for the push to 100,000 by year end. | ![]() sparky333

24/5/2024 14:37 | Sparky"Even the sector giant is on 7 and they have no market share to expand into in fact constantly losing clients"Complete and utter rubbish. Do you even check the facts before posting?, clearly not.In FY2022 British Gas had 480,000 small business customersFor FY2023 that had increased 15% to 552,000.Yes not growing as fast but then YU are from a lower base. It's taken 10 years to gain just 1.4% of the market. | ![]() disc0dave46
