I noticed on ticker RQIH on the LSE Website there is a DiscoDog making extremely over the top positive comments re R&Q insurance. Could this be DiscoDave again.???

Gas spot price seems pretty stable and bouncing around between 70 and 80p a therm most of 2024 Someone told us it was heading to pre Covid levels , not looking that way currently If it stays in this range less around 10% behind the average of 83p a therm for 2023 Not what was forecast at all and again will blow broker note numbers out the water if they went for a spot price way below 70p a therm but then again with such an unstable world who's surprised as all the risk is to the upside in my mind.

ES to clarify disco used the BuyHighSellLowDoh username on CNA and was claiming to be a retired solicitor. He was rumbled after only 9 posts, the only 9 posts that were ever posted.

What on earth are French accountancy qualifications to do with an English accountant?? You are definitely a weird one.

Also what are you on about, "places in the accounts where dividends are paid". You don't know what you are talking about. You have demonstrated that you pontificate about the share premium account without knowing what it is ( remember how you kept calling it a share price account??? PMSL) now you are inventing new rules of accountancy.

I can see why you are so bac at share tipping. You haven't got a clue. The only thing thst keeps you hrte is your weird obsession with Sparky.

Oh. By the way. Have a lovely weekend.

Sparky"Just to clarify year end cash position ie Dec 31st 2024 is estimated to be at least ?112m not my numbers but Liberium so that is after ROC, dividends etc etc etc."Is it after ROC?, post up where that's stated, plus YU accounts don't net off their ROC liability in their net cash, well they haven't previously from my recollection. You've previously agreed that when you falsely posted up their cash which I challenged and eventually you agreed that ROC has to be deducted. So now you are saying the opposite. How about any ring fenced customer cash paid upfront that could be reimbursed?.How / What are Shell getting?.

ESWhere have I said you are a retired solicitor? You aren't an accountant IMO, all because you pop up and say you are on a BB doesnt immediately mean folks will believe what you say. And based on your lack of knowledge about where else in the accounts dividends are paid and you not even aware of the accountancy qualifications required to practice in France supports my view."To be eligible to practice as a statutory auditor or chartered accountant, individuals must: have a university degree, have work experience of at least three years in an accounting/auditing firm, pass a final assessment, and obtain the French higher accountancy degree: "Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable" (DEC).

Also interesting no comment on Octopus who in 2023 used a bad debt figure of 1.3%.Seems a tad low to me but YU used a conservative 3.1% who is right and who is wrong ? Octopus is pretty well regarded as the gold standard for domestic so bare that in mind.Just a thought as SMEs tend to be better payers than domestic so 2023 wasnt the doom and gloom predicted according to Octopus. may mean nothing bit has rawson been a bit harsh on bad debt provision ? as he does state he is cautious guy . even though other think he uses an abacus

Just to clarify year end cash position ie Dec 31st 2024 is estimated to be at least £112m not my numbers but Liberium so that is after ROC, dividends etc etc etc.Not bad when MC is £270m And that doesn't include upgrades yet which history has taught us after 8 upgrades in 2 years Liberium and share price Angel always under state because the business is moving at a very rapid rate.Time will tell but we are 5 months into 2024 and already told 5 weeks ago 2024 was off to a very strong start, not my words YU groups words

Sparky"Hell of battle going on between sellers and buyers PE of 9 and way over 40% of MC in cash by year end if not higher No brainer"It won't be 40%, not when you net off ROC payments (which could double) and customers upfront cash. Significant reduction in FY24 earnings growth doesn't leave much wiggle room in their hedging IMO. Then there's what collateral did Shell agree / insist on?, not cash but what?, equity?, it's got to come out sometime, Shell sure as hell ain't doing it for nowt!.It's FY25 when IMO it will start to show their cash generation and FCF margin will fall considerably.
