09/5/2024 08:13 | Sellers with pants down yesterday | johndoe23
09/5/2024 08:00 | Wise words Fidra,We all knew a pullback was inevitable but yesterday was savage as stops taken out constantly.I sleep easy knowing how low we are valued and one day the market will wake up and think OMFG how ridiculous is the valuation of YU because the current PE is historical not future. | sparky333
09/5/2024 07:43 | On fundamentals this still looks sound.as no news to suggest otherwise. Pe under 9 good cash at bank ,and company said going well. I think there was a great expectation on an even better trading update coming in two weeks ,which apparently will not happen now .but later in June or July, which would be half year end . They may however now say something at the agm instead ,and of course they may not . A lot of stops were taken out on this news, looking through the sales they are all small volume.they add up to a lot . Before this my personal thought was that they were trying to collect in shares before agm ,as spread was huge at times in last couple of days . This is the stock market anything can happen tho …. My own instinct is still these are too cheap. On cash generation and payout and p/e for a growth company, and I still think they . | fidra
08/5/2024 22:23 | The drop from 1800p a share has lost me 16k across 2 of my pensions. I am still well up overall over the last 12 months including YU.The question is do I buy back in. I can't see any news that is the cause of this, at least not to this extent. | mutley655
08/5/2024 19:51 | Any thoughts on the Octopus valuation in the papers today ? £7b and made £200m profit last year what I found most interesting is they mainly serve domestic and bad debt provision was only 1.3% in 2023 Always struck me domestically was far riskier for bad debt than commercial How does that work ? | sparky333
08/5/2024 18:49 | Closed virtually bang on the SMA50 (1633).Still possible gaps to the downside but wouldn't be surprised to see a bounce tomorrow, who knows, I've not got a time machine like Sparky. It is apparent though that the market has been spooked by them cancelling the AGM Trading Update and definitely a negative the director sells....its been on a downtrend ever since!.Hope newbies weren't stung by the constant ramping and BS next door, or folks with stops getting caught (mind you why have stops on an illiquid AIM stock is beyond me, but each to their own). | disc0dave46
08/5/2024 18:43 | Dreadful day, but maybe a big clear out of weak hands was needed. Before next leg up... | johndoe23
08/5/2024 18:31 | What’s different with Yu share price gyrations now and before is the change in prospective dividend from peanuts to substantial. Setting stop losses or simply selling shares will mean missing out on a substantial dividend which will only significantly increase each year as per the stated company policy. The ex -dividend date is 30th May. I’d be suprised if there’s not a rush to buy in before then. | ihatemms
08/5/2024 16:25 | Shake n vac | bobaxe1
08/5/2024 16:16 | Added some more | moreplumbing
08/5/2024 16:06 | So why aren't you topping up Sparky?So full of BS IMO.Folks DYOR | disc0dave46
08/5/2024 16:00 | Indeed, you can feel the panic as each trade go through, seen this happen several times over the years and every time the RNS has dropped and boom smashed it.No reason after being told only 5 weeks ago business is booming | sparky333
08/5/2024 15:56 | Crazy price. Looking to add Typical of YU at times even though the outlook is rosy | gswredland
08/5/2024 15:53 | Disco creaming himself today! lol | jasonstephens22
08/5/2024 15:52 | Also very sorry to hear that Mutley, YU does gyrate upwards and downwards to extremes. The price we pay for a small free float. | sparky333
08/5/2024 15:48 | Sorry to hear that. I guess due to your size thats the best they could get you out at... that or you got a dodgy broker. | liam1om
08/5/2024 15:45 | Boo in the blueWoukd you Adam and Eve it eh Sparky - but you clearly said it was going to crash,It's not always about the fundamentals my friend, as I posted, all the bad news priced in. | disc0dave46
08/5/2024 15:41 | My stop loss didn't kick in when it should have. It executed at 85 pence lower than it was set. So I only got 15.90 a share. ? | mutley655
08/5/2024 15:37 | SparkyIt's not an us and you game, although you and the sheep think it is.If you truly believe what you keep posting then why haven't you ever topped up on the dips?, why aren't you backing the lorry up now if you think £30 by H1 and there are zero bear points? (you are far too blinkered IMO).It's likely to have a bounce tomorrow after such a fall as punters come in, but who knows, could keep drifting until they do update later this month or early next or who knows!.The market doesn't forget past mistakes and sentiment on that score trumps fundamentals IMVHO. | disc0dave46
08/5/2024 15:29 | Someone posted that on LSE. I just got stopped out 12K down. Fuming... | mutley655
08/5/2024 15:29 | Enjoy your day of success bears, tomorrow is another day and fundamentally nothing has changed.Only 5 weeks ago The Group continues to report significant growth in revenue, profitability, cash generation and other key metrics. The world has gone totally mad today | sparky333 |
