Yes Dave, folks DYOR.If they did, they would soon realise what a nasty, manipulative, lying piece of work you are. How you twist everything people say, putting them down in the hope they will not post again. You pretend to filter anyone that challenges your views. Under the pretence they have insulated you and your family, which we all know is boll...s Any reasonable discussion is nigh impossible as you know it all. So so sad Dave, have a nice day :-)

BuyHighSellLowDoh - 02 Jul 2020 - 20:03:24 - 31570 of 33007 Centrica broker notes 2013/14 - CNA
With all due respect but this appears to be a very toxic thread and I will wish you all the best but don’t need this aggravation in seeking an answer to a very simple and polite request.
Furthermore, I have read the back posts and take it from me as a retired solicitor an email does not align with civil law proceedings (formal headed letter), defamation has to be implicit and I see no record of that and obtaining anybody’s email address without a court order would in itself have been an illegal act, so I take whatever you post with a very very large pinch of salt.
Good fortune and health.

We shouldn't be taking delight in other people selling at lower prices I'm a long time holder, bought yesterday's dip and sold the extra just now for a tidy sum, leaving the core holding untouched.Other people may have other reasons to sell

Sparky "We all knew a pullback was inevitable"Really!, you are so full of BS, you've been ramping new all time highs are coming, £30 by H1.... Not once have you posted a pullback is coming, unbelievable. You just don't seem to see anything as an investor, have you ever considered that this is lowly rated because expectations are low?, their exceptional performance is a one off, forecast earnings are shouting that into your face but you are like a child sticking your fingers in your ears refusing to accept any bear points whatsoever. The market also flagged IMVHO that sentiment trumps fundamentals and trust is still an issue.Value isn't just based on your one and only metric, the PE, compared to the UK's number one business energy supplier this is definitely not "value".

We still have sellers by the looks of things, but at a valuation now that is just absurd based on fundamentals and outlook Only told 5 weeks ago 2024 was off to a flyer

Wise words Fidra,We all knew a pullback was inevitable but yesterday was savage as stops taken out constantly.I sleep easy knowing how low we are valued and one day the market will wake up and think OMFG how ridiculous is the valuation of YU because the current PE is historical not future.

On fundamentals this still looks sound.as no news to suggest otherwise.
Pe under 9 good cash at bank ,and company said going well.

I think there was a great expectation on an even better trading update coming in two weeks ,which apparently will not happen now .but later in June or July, which would be half year end .

They may however now say something at the agm instead ,and of course they may not .

A lot of stops were taken out on this news, looking through the sales they are all small volume.they add up to a lot .

Before this my personal thought was that they were trying to collect in shares before agm ,as spread was huge at times in last couple of days .

This is the stock market anything can happen tho ….

My own instinct is still these are too cheap. On cash generation and payout and p/e for a growth company, and I still think they .

The drop from 1800p a share has lost me 16k across 2 of my pensions. I am still well up overall over the last 12 months including YU.The question is do I buy back in. I can't see any news that is the cause of this, at least not to this extent.
