20/8/2019 06:27 | Frustration with lack of movement in U308 price: JSC National Atomic Company "Kazatomprom" ("Kazatomprom" or "the Company") announced today its intention to continue to flex down production by 20% through 2021, compared to the planned levels under Subsoil Use Contracts. The Company will now begin working with joint venture partners to assess the impact and implement the plan across all of Kazakhstan's uranium mines. At least the metal price should be decoupled from the world economy. | jonwig
13/8/2019 16:10 | The chart doesn't excite me much either, tbh. U3O8 still basing in mid $20s, all yellowcake miners getting hammered post s232. There's not too much positive to say at this moment. I'm slowly accumulating, assuming the downside is reasonably protected. I think with patience, that will pay off handsomely. Biggest risk for me is putting too much weight here too soon, leading to frustration. With that in mind, I will be looking for U308 to decisively break $30 before I buy any more YCA That could be quite a while! | bmcb5
13/8/2019 15:50 | I can not see anything good in the chart! | andyj
13/8/2019 10:11 | That chart looks good doesn't it, looks like next move could be up to 220. I have no cash to invest but may have a nibble with a spreadbet | the bull
13/8/2019 10:07 | Couldn't resist picking up a few at 200p. I don't expect immediate returns, but it feels as good as cash in the bank right now | bmcb5
06/8/2019 13:49 | ha, yes. Put those brakes back on! :-) | bmcb5
05/8/2019 10:01 | The brakes are off but its heading in the wrong direction. | andyj

15/7/2019 06:08 | Yellow Cake, a specialist company operating in the uranium sector with a view to holding physical uranium ("U3O8") for the long term, notes the decision by President Donald Trump to implement no new trade restrictions on uranium imports into the United States following the Section 232 investigation into the matter. | jonwig

18/6/2019 06:10 | FY Results: NAV at 31/05 214p. Outlook: Looking forward, we expect the resolution of the USDOC 232 investigation to result in a return to contracting in the long-term uranium market, particularly for US utilities, and an increase in spot market activity. While investments in physical uranium, nuclear fuel trader activity and producer buying are likely to continue to dominate the near-term market, the long-term fundamentals for nuclear energy remain compelling and the uranium industry supply and demand dynamics suggest support for the uranium price. The strong support from existing and new shareholders for the capital raise in April 2019 demonstrates that we are not alone in our confidence regarding the long-term outlook for the uranium price. Testing patience! | jonwig
07/6/2019 12:10 | I have followed this story for quite a while. It all looks good however the uranium price has gone lower. Section 232 is considered the scapegoat and I am not sure why. Has anybody here gone deeper into the implication of section 232? | sophia1982
03/5/2019 15:26 | VIDEO: Yellow Cake PLC (LON:YCA) chief executive Andre Liebenberg tells Proactive London's Andrew Scott the recent pullback in spot prices has presented a good buying opportunity for them as they remain confident in the long-term outlook for the metal. He adds that their confidence in the long-term outlook for uranium is unchanged despite the short-term uncertainty created by the Section 232 investigation in the US: | jonwig

30/4/2019 16:23 | FT: France will delay by 10 years the shutdown of part of its nuclear power industry in order to fulfill President Emmanuel Macron’s aim of making the country carbon-neutral by 2050, the government said on Tuesday. Not much, but the right direction. | jonwig

11/4/2019 16:53 | Welcome, but surprising they can manage this! Why has the nav fallen to 224p? Seems a bit steep! If I were a cynical, suspicious nature, I'd suspect some manipulation of the nav to get the placing away. Perish the thought! | jonwig
