That's a good technical point but I've seen placing shares worked in so many times before through trading XTR shares . Formerly Beaufort Securities Ltd ,took a large chunk of any placing shares until things went bad for them after which Sanderson took over their role .

Several large holders going back to when Mr.Jan Nelson was CEO held their shares no matter how low the Market Makers took the share price down too . I remember the placing was done at 0.215p /share but by the time MM's had finished offloading the share price was down to 0.045p /share .When the TR1 came out Beaufort had gone below 3% holding in the company an RNS was issued shortly afterwards stating when outcrop reef ore was mixed with central core ore concentrate increased 7 fold . The share price went ballistic up to 0.49p /share . What many investors failed to notice TIR had triggered their options at 0.32p /share but most didn't care thinking the purchase of Manica , Mozambique was the best thing since sliced bread . There were a few million pound still owing on Manica and that was done via another placing forcing the same downward spiral eventually forcing Mr. Bird to do a 200:1 consolidation . It also cost Beaufort who re-emerged as Sanderson .

With Mozambique being hit not only with bad weather over Christmas and insurgents forcing mass displacement of people . I hold little hope for fair bridge in much the same way as Mr.Jan Nelson tried his hardest to make Chipica , Chile work for share holders . Mr Bird is having similar bad luck . Weather played a big part in Mr. Nelsons inability to make XTR profitable with 2 cyclones making the Chepica central core mine unstable . Same with Mr.Bird cyclones flooding Mozambique so there is a similarity . Not forgetting mass flooding around the Bush Ranger area this Christmas put the newest venture on hold for drilling for a while .

Having said all of that I will keep an eye on XTR waiting for Sandersons TR1 until then I won't be investing having seen the same old so many times before . This is my opinion and experience others tend to walk away and write off their losses me I like to buy low sell high .

SwingBySome, when you say Sanderson are shorting, do you mean they are selling shares they dont hold ? Selling shares they already hold is not really shorting ?

Many thanks for that tip with regards to WSBN . Managed to get a trading tranche before it took off hence nice profit with your post to thank for it .
I see the MM's are still churning the last $5m placing shares in XTR having spiked it to 9p /share then worked then in ever since . Still no Sanderson TR1 but then I assumed they would short their position from above 8p /share and the way things are looking probably a good assumption .
Had a nice swing trade with HDD too hence good week for me ..... :-)

Unless we have a positive RNS the share price won't move much.I think FOMO has waned now, concrete evidence of copper will move us up, no point in refreshing the share price every two minutes

perhaps the red thumb down person would be brave enough to constructively explain why the need is felt to mark down my post ? Unable to debate, the use of cowardly down thumb tantrum is noted ;-)

Lets revisit a valuation here. In 12 months Copper could well reach $12000/T.
In 12 months lets say there will be 1000m shares in issue to allow for warrants and a placing to prove up the resource at Bushranger (currently 743million).
It is looking increasingly likely that the 2mT Cu that we are looking for will be exceeded from the comments made by Colin Bird. So lets pencil in 3mT. The value of
3mT @ $12000 is around £26Billion ($ to £ approx 0.72). At 3% buy out rate that is £778million. Allowing for there to be 1000million shares in issue, that is around 78p/share without the African interests.
(If it is 4mT then we are looking at nearer £1 share price )
More than happy to hold and add for the inevitable rerate.

- Copper has a crucial role in replacing oil with sustainable energy and achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.
- By 2025, the metal could be priced at $15,000 per ton, a rise of 66%.
- Demand for copper will surge, but the market is facing a supply crunch
