06/5/2021 09:20 | Oliver ... key for me is, despite all the buzz about the other CB companies, which is the only one of his stocks he has gone into the market twice and spent a total of £110k+ of his own money in the last few months. ;o) | onedayrodders

05/5/2021 09:04 | Zambia has suffered a famine for the last 2 years , Mozambique flooding , insurgency displacement of over 600k people , cyclones , etc ...... oops almost forgot covid 19 but then they hadn't got over previous forms of coronavirus like SARS , MIRS so nothing knew to countries near the Democratic Republic of Congo . Yep , I do wonder weather Mr.Bird should have concentrated on getting Manica to pay for further exploration since todays RNS even worded positively hid the true cost to the company that doesn't have an income stream to constantly over spend . So what's the share price really doing ? After the first placing 2 months ago for £5m the share price shot up to almost 9p /share , now we're below the first placing price and don't know who holds these shares it's obvious the holder will be making money . As for the second placing shares well we're below the issue price there so no guessing what's happening with them . Yet no TR1 to say anyone actually holds any of the placing shares .......weird .... hey but not unusual we'll get one when the holder is under 3% of all shares in issue . With Mr.Bird burning through cash like it grows on trees I wonder when the next placing is due , let alone what price , maybe fudged at 7p /share only to see the share price tank on day of announcement . AIM is a funny old market but easily seen through and that's why I swing trade , not short or hope I got it right by holding . Market Makers still taking this down not that we haven't seen this pattern with Xtract resources so many times before . I'd say 1p / share isn't the bottom but then the truth of hole 1 at Bushranger appears to have turned it into a shallow open pit mine now . Not worth a lot ...... hey ... yet still no TR1 so the MM's have to work all those shares in somehow . | swingbysome
05/5/2021 07:45 | qaz agreed this is just games being played! Today's RNS was a good one just a case of waiting! The waiting game in the stock market is the most difficult one to do, but is certainly the most lucrative! Be lucky to all | chesty1
05/5/2021 07:38 | For the first time in a long time, I can sell well over a million. Its almost like the MMs want some stock...... | qazwsxedc69
05/5/2021 07:36 | They may have drained cash previously but with the copper price where it is could be very lucrative in the short term! Agreed BR IS THE ONE! But with other plays going on in the background just adds to the pot! | chesty1
05/5/2021 07:29 | Why are you surprised with that? BR is the play here, not those poxy African miscellaneous assets that drink up cash. | divmad

05/5/2021 07:00 | Yes, that means it is cheap to mine. The less overburden you need to remove the cheaper the cost. Basically take off the overburden, then shovel it up and sell it:)) Remember this because it also applies to Bushranger, remember CB saying how it is like a cigar shape and tilted, rather than plunging, which means the ore body will be easier to access. The nearer the surface the ore, the cheaper it is to extract. A mine is only a mine if it is economically viable, the higher the minerals prices go, the more mines which were previously uneconomic become economic and either restart or get the green light to proceed. | the count of monte_cristo
05/5/2021 06:56 | Another nice bit: "The near-vertical mineral zone occurs directly beneath approximately 9m of overburden/saprolite | picardy
05/5/2021 06:50 | 1m at 20% copper is bonanza grade copper, I suspect we may similar results. The mine used to be one of the highest grade copper mines in Africa, they stopped producing during a period of very low metal prices and when they were mining, back in the 70's they were inefficiently mining and lacked today's modern day technology. It wouldn't be the first, or last time, that excellent ore bodies have been discovered in abandoned mines. Indeed, quite a few AIM explorers have the same strategy, such as UFO on their Australian silver projects. | the count of monte_cristo
05/5/2021 06:46 | Indeed Count, all good in the XTR hood. Should see some blue today hopefully. The BR assays will come when they come. It takes time and the Labs are very very busy in Aus. We know they will be decent, otherwise why raise £5.5m for phase Two?, you wouldnt. Patience required here. | jackthecat1
05/5/2021 06:43 | 1m at 20% copper:)) Unheard of grades these days. The best place to find a mine is where an old mine used to be. This has the potential to be a quick to mine, low cost, very high grade copper operation, with a short time frame to move into production. Couldn't have come at a better time with copper prices at their current levels. Also, CB notes it could be a larger producer than previously expected. "The very high results in EX-022 give encouragement to test that area at depth, as the mineralisation could be indicative of an IOCG 'blow'. We plan to remobilise the drill rig to further test deposit extensions while planning a larger pit than had previously been envisaged. " | the count of monte_cristo
05/5/2021 06:31 | We are going to need a bigger pit! | inaminute
