05/5/2021 07:50 | 1m at 20% copper is bonanza grade copper, I suspect we may similar results. The mine used to be one of the highest grade copper mines in Africa, they stopped producing during a period of very low metal prices and when they were mining, back in the 70's they were inefficiently mining and lacked today's modern day technology. It wouldn't be the first, or last time, that excellent ore bodies have been discovered in abandoned mines. Indeed, quite a few AIM explorers have the same strategy, such as UFO on their Australian silver projects. | the count of monte_cristo
05/5/2021 07:46 | Indeed Count, all good in the XTR hood. Should see some blue today hopefully. The BR assays will come when they come. It takes time and the Labs are very very busy in Aus. We know they will be decent, otherwise why raise £5.5m for phase Two?, you wouldnt. Patience required here. | jackthecat1
05/5/2021 07:43 | 1m at 20% copper:)) Unheard of grades these days. The best place to find a mine is where an old mine used to be. This has the potential to be a quick to mine, low cost, very high grade copper operation, with a short time frame to move into production. Couldn't have come at a better time with copper prices at their current levels. Also, CB notes it could be a larger producer than previously expected. "The very high results in EX-022 give encouragement to test that area at depth, as the mineralisation could be indicative of an IOCG 'blow'. We plan to remobilise the drill rig to further test deposit extensions while planning a larger pit than had previously been envisaged. " | the count of monte_cristo
05/5/2021 07:31 | We are going to need a bigger pit! | inaminute

05/5/2021 07:20 | Morning all a very solid Eureka update whilst we wait for the bush ranger! You forget this isn’t a one trick pony! Within the next two weeks for a bush ranger RNS, locked n loaded! | chesty1
05/5/2021 07:09 | Copper at $10,000 per tonne this morning, which is nice. Just need to find 2 million tonnes of it now. | joycey1882
05/5/2021 07:02 | Highlights -- Phase 2 drilling programme confirms strike extension of the Eureka mineralised zone to the north-west - now at 300m and still open -- Three holes assayed so far from the pit development reconnaissance programme return the best copper grades to date beneath the current open pit, averaging 4.42% Cu over 27.0m (circa 18m true width) in angled hole EX-022, including two 9m sub-intervals >6% Cu and 1m >20% Cu -- In the north-west extension, angled hole EX-019 assayed 0.83% Cu over 18.0m (circa 12m true width), including 1.36% Cu over 8.0m -- The near-vertical mineral zone occurs directly beneath approximately 9m of overburden/saprolite -- The deposit remains open and untested along strike to the north-west, with additional drilling being planned to define further extension -- The objective of the Eureka drilling programme is to define a copper resource to sustain a 250,000 tonnes per annum open pit mining operation for at least 3 years -- Excavations are under way to develop a box cut to obtain commercial material for dispatch to the market -- The very high grades encountered in hole EX-022 require further investigation at depth to test a possible iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) source model | all in eol
04/5/2021 20:36 | Chesty why cant you write something constructive that is of interest to us all to do with xtr instead of writing the same old dribble 2-3 times a day. We all know that this has potential to go a lot higher that's why we buy the share, the end game has a long way to go. The share price isn't going to go through the roof unless Anglo A or anyone announces they will build a mine and buy the license from xtract. | 2603
04/5/2021 14:43 | This has to be on on the best long term holds on the market, risk reward I am following CB and staying long for the end game. Simples. | chesty1

04/5/2021 14:07 | Last night, while watching Alkane's stock bounce off recent lows and increase 30%, the equivalent of an 80m GBP increase in it's market cap, I was thinking if CB is correct about Bushranger being better than Boda then we are going to have some exciting share price movements ahead this year. I am also wondering when a bidder might materialise for Alkane resources, as I speculated in detail in January, and how this will materially impact both the valuation of Bushranger and the share price of XTR. | the count of monte_cristo
04/5/2021 14:03 | Here is an example, this time on the drillers side. Most arm chair investors have zero understanding about these matters and sell because they think a delay is always a negative omen or a bad sign. My opinion is that the assay delays are because the entire industry is booming right now and the labs are completely overwhelmed. | the count of monte_cristo
04/5/2021 13:59 | The delay to the assay results is probably due to the labs being overwhelmed in Australia as the exploration companies are going at it to drill their projects. The last 5 years have been absolutely awful for the exploration stocks, time for them to come good as we see a massive rerate of the sector as the world starts to realize that we need resources, be they copper or cobalt to move into the future energy complex. Copper is being touted as "the new oil" because of it's key role in the EV industry. | the count of monte_cristo

04/5/2021 09:36 | I am very surprised that nobody has mentioned Alkane Resources, they went up 30% yesterday on the back of further positives news on their Boda project. That 30% was the equivalent to an increase of 80m GBP in their market cap, twice the current value of XTR. The Lachlan Fold belt is THE place to be at the moment.
