You might be right, avsome1968 and ARCM may have bottomed. I'm not yet convinced. However, for your sake, I hope it has bottomed and starts to climb again. I wish you ATB and hope you are soon in profit on your investment.

Charts, even those of speculative AIM shares, can protect your capital. For instance selling both ARCM & PXC, after their big spikes up last year, when the charts of both turned bearish, would have saved you a lot of money!
The conspiracy theorists posting on the ARCM bb's appear to be more interested in attacking Colin Bird's involvement in Southern Africa (via JLP & XTR) than their ever declining share price

I want a third porphyry. Actually don't we already have one in Footrot, albeit unproven, but now substantially de-risked because the team understand the geology so much better now along with the IP signatures.

GS, I am thinking on the same lines. It will take an updated conceptual pit and the minimum JORC required for AA/others, and a clear green flag for the start of the process (arguably already given) to start the price moving substantively. It might firm up a bit on some of the news flow that is expected.

March/April then unless a third porphyry gets in the way.

And don't forget CB explicitly states his intention to be presenting to AA in June or 'possibly' before.

It’s likely will have to wait until all holes into racecourse including any extension holes, before the concept pit model could potentially be released before the resource model is completed that would include Ascot, with the remaining. It may be that they decide to close off the NW with a further hole or two, including a number into the south west to close off there too as was still open ended. A few more into Ascot I believed too. 600k under budget so funds are available. In which case all to be revealed at very end in one news bomb.

What's the saying.."The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent."
And AIM is more irrational than most markets. So many companies promise Jam tomorrow and fail. Everything points in the right direction for XTR but there is still a lot of cynisism with AIM stocks. Hopefully value will out pretty soon. If it is a multi bagger then CB will make a ton with his current holding.

Thanks GS, didn't realise there were so many outstanding. And presumably they need all of these in order to complete the modelling they're planning for Q2? Hopefully the release of these results has not been done on a selective basis.

I, for one, think that without the regular updates, we would be trading much, much lower in the current trading environment. Once we clear the cheap shares constantly offered for sale (there should not be that many left), these updates will start to have material impact without the sell-off afterwards.

John, currently 23 holes awaiting assays if you you include the very latest up to hole 38.
Hole 14 being the longest awaited at present 18 weeks

It must be slightly frustrating for CB.

We have to remember that RNSs are about informing the market. The market needs to be informed so that there can be a re-evaluation of value. That is the market.

The problem is that XTR have pumped out (at cost) many RNSs. While there is no substantive overview of the resource (JORC) a reasonable person should be able to establish from the RNSs that +/- 10% the contained copper within Racecourse is 2MT. In CB's view that is worth c25-30p/share.

XTR have also RNS'd a new find, Ascot, that has all the hallmarks of a similar size (and value?) to Racecourse.

Informally (Sunday Roast) CB has informed the market that XTR are looking to realise Racecourse plus Ascot in mid-2022. The realisation should be Racecourse (25-30p/share) plus the value of an unproven Ascot. The current share price is in the 5-6p range.

If I were CB I would package up RNSs and release when XTR are obliged to release new information because frequent RNSs have no impact on the market. Much as they help shareholders, they are a waste of money.

Cynically before Christmas I said that if they found a third porphyry it would thrash the share price because it would take more time to prove up and delay a potential sale. Cynicism could becomes a fact on AIM!

At the moment I'm very happy with my holdings of KIST, IOG, SQZ and XTR. plus recent small punts on GPM & PUR.

YES, qazwsxedc69 . Just like it does on PXC. I didn't look closely at the PXC chart before having a small punt on them recently, but quickly sold my PXC shares when I did (there is a bearish H&S pattern on the PXC chart).

qazwsxedc69? You can join backtothesoil on my very long filter list.

Drilling/assay results in Australia, production news in Mozambique, exploration news in Zambia, will all have huge impact on the share price one way or another. What the hell do squiggly lines on a chart have to do with any of the above?

"Well going by the EMA's the trend is up, but the Heikin-Ashi candlesticks suggests we might get a short pause in the uptrend."

Unfortunately, what I posted yesterday evening is turning out to be correct.
