Well it's thanks to Buzzarn as he gave us all the heads up on this and was kind enough to post the link.

With XTR we already have a top 25 Aussie copper deposit, in that 2012 JORC, and now what is shaping up to be a world class copper project on the backdoor of Sydney and it's a long life open-pit operation with excellent potential for more porphyries, everything a major looks for in their dream list. The real speculation in XTR has yet to begin and may surprise even the most bullish of shareholders on here. I can't see AA passing up on this, it's just what they want and importantly, need!

KAV - They need to show something in the drill results and prove something with the assays, it's exciting but they need to show something tangible. If they do then the speculative mania will enter and that's when I would join in, going into it fully understanding that I would be buying in to take short term gains as the share price goes crazy. Until then I will be an interested by-stander.

thank you Count !! that's what I was hoping for especially after listening to the interview with CB.
What's your thoughts on Kavango Resources ?

buzzarn, thanks for sharing. CB answers many of the questions some PI's have been posting here; a quick list of my notes from this...

- Ascot will fundamentally change the size and scope of the project
- Potential for multiple porphyries requiring their own open-pits, to see what this may look like see link below and slide 8
- AA talks won't be far away
- Gold production will be generating significant revenues, I personally am bullish on gold and this could come right at the time when POG starts to move
- Copper deliveries from the Zambian projects will also start generating revenues
- Kiwara sale (US$260.2 million / GBP157.6 million) was done in a much less mining friendly country over a decade ago and when the copper outlook was nowhere near as strong as it is now
- Drilling was significantly under budget, no need for any imminent placings

1blazer, hence why I said "well above 20p", could be double that, still quite a few things need to fall into place but everything is moving in the right direction.

Was Colin’s African pioneer on 12 stocks for Christmas (Sunday roast) yesterday briefly mentions xtract at very end on 22mins

>>”A big Christmas present now……in extract we’ve got two porphyries to go and another porphry won’t be it……so another discovery in one of our copper projects.”

Think there may be a clue in there somewhere
I posted this on lse too

On Hotcopper Alkane [BODA], there is an announcement in Dec 2021 about higher grades at NW BODA.
There is 1 post in this link and the poster thinks that from the results, it would appear "proper au/cu mineralisation starts from 543m."
hxxps://hotcopper.com.au/asx/alk/ Mkt Cap A$564 Million @91.5c.
So, as GS says, it will be cave-mined ie BODA.

XTR'S RACECOURSE-NSW, AUSTRALIA
Mr Bird is heading more for the SURFACE deposit so the more PORPHYRIES the better.
Racecourse - Ascot is more copper orientated vs BODA more gold.

COBRE PANAMA, First Quantum
I first came across the above from the Solgold chart of copper deposits etc.
It is located in the Panama jungle but a MORE SURFACE deposit.

Measured and Indicated [8 deposits] 3.537 Billion tonnes @ 0.37 % cu, 0.006 Mo 0.07g/t au gold and 1.34 g/t silver.

Inferred: 3 deposits
1.093 BILLION TONNES -----<>@ 0 . 2 6 % cu.------
0.005 mo, 0.04 g/t gold and 1.08 g/t silver.

<>ALL CUT-OFF ------- 0 . 1 5 % CU COPPER.-----

From recall, the capex was around US$10 billion, a monster of a capex given it was in the jungles of Panama and the initial grade overall was 0. 1 0 % CU COPPER from recall of the Solgold chart.

XTR's Bushranger is far cheaper due to it being in a mining area with infrastructure etc.

Cobre Panama has already become a mine.

Kindly check and please if anything is not correct, then just correct without
to do's.

‘22 we should see Australian mining media start to pick up on the Bushranger deposits, maybe a listing on asx too, as the project scales up and becomes less speculative and more geologically evident. Certainly once a 3rd system is identified. Will start to be taken very seriously, with more similarity in deposit type to cadia than just in size to boda. Boda is reliant on the high grade breccia zones of mineralisation they are finding to make their project economical as will be ultimately cave mined.
With no reason to believe that Ascot’s orientation and grades will not be like racecourse as these deposit type are usually similar within a cluster. So low start up CapEx for central plant to service all. Open pits with 20year mine lives to then access the deeper ore carrying its own CapEx makes this desirable and economical with less dependency on finding higher grades, but consistent grades in the long lengths we are getting.
A recent CB quote, “If one is pay, they are all pay.”
The confidence now shown by the Company in the resource viability, to me is compounded by the fact that the buy-back agreement has not been included in the shareholder Oct ‘21 presentation! Simply no need to use the sprat to catch the mackerel anymore. (Can still find on website)

I don't think you can compare Bushranger grades with the exceptional ones at Boda ! Happy to be proved wrong, but will be only if CB deliveres better drill results than so far.

CMC, that looks a bit over diversified! I took similar decisions and after a little diversification at the start I am now at 100%!

The investment is well covered by asset value and the geology has substantial further potential upside.

They do not come around that often. In 30 years or so of investing this is one of the best and the substantial potential upside offsets the current higher market/political risk.

Life is short!

Exceptional share price gains in small cap mining stocks.

The last bull run in exploration stocks was over a decade ago now, during that period many small cap exploration stocks increased 100s of % and in some cases 1000s of %. It's my opinion that these next few years will see similar types of gains, with some stocks putting in exceptional returns for shareholders. With the few stocks which put on exceptional gains they need certain attributes, key amongst them is finding a very large resource and proving it up. If you look at XTR in that list which Chip has put together, you need to ask the question why is it number one in that list and what has set it apart from all of the other stocks?

At the start of 2021 I held just one stock, XTR, I was laughed at and told not to spam other bb's when I was sharing my research and asking PI's to have a read and study the prospects at Bushranger at the beginning of 2021. This year I have diversified a little bit but continue to hold 85% of my portfolio in XTR, when assessing other companies nothing really comes close to the potential share price returns I personally foresee for XTR. Just think about what a potential "Cadia Ridgeway" type find would mean, in a world where large copper deposits are not being found. The real speculation in XTR hasn't even begun yet and it was still easily the number one performing stock in Chips list.

Don't be shaken out by short term rises and keep your mind focused on the end game here and believe in CB. IMHO, DYOR.

ToMC

buzzarn - thanks for the heads up.

CB has stated that he thinks Bushranger is "at least as good as Boda", therefore we have no reason not to speculate that Bushranger could become one of the largest copper deposits in Australia found in the last 10 to 20 years.

Zero Matrix is correct We have to await "developments". When XTR's Australian assets are sold to AA (or maybe another major?) is completely outside of our control. We are just passive shareholders. Just be patient and add on the dips.

You sound confident in your statement Buzzarn, I have thought for a while now that Colin has been in contact with Anglo and I’m sure he has a good understanding of what to drill and what can be left on the bone. Nevertheless it is still in Anglos interest to allow extract to absorb the risk in identifying shall we say, as much as practical , with an obligation to their own shareholders, the bigger this is, allowing for the reduced risk the more value is returned to them. There is the other hand to consider, Colin has made it clear he’s not going to be giving this away and whatever we drill is what will be included in the package so the likelihood that Anglo will come in early with an offer that in reality extract could turn down, which then Anglo would lose the right for first refusal that forms the main part of the buy- back agreement. The ball is firmly in our court to approach Anglo once we have a resource estimate.
Xtract will return best value to shareholders.

Let's hope the seller(s) @ circa 6p have run out of shares to sell. Once that 6p resistance is broken then the next stop is resistance @ circa 8-9p. After that potential resistance is broken it's then blue sky.
gfg1 should have bought back in Wednesday and/or yesterday. He shouldn't blame the MM's, or his broker, for his inability to get an online quote to buy back in today. He should blame himself. It's the easy way out to blame others for your own shortcomings.
