22/7/2019 11:33 | 123gmtrader exactly, I bought so cheap when everyone was negatively selling. Ory is banging on the EPS because he knows very well that the stock is so cheap and that is the best case to allocate capital to the owners of XLM. he said it that 2019 is not a growth year for XLM BUT it is a restructuring the business by reducing the media while refocusing on the affiliations business, which has much higher margin and less capital and effort to run. From 2020 and forward you will see nice profitable growth in the business. The US market and some other markets will indeed add business value to the company and XLM is ready for that movement. In the mean time all we can do is wait till the compounding machine starts doing its magic. As Charlie Munger once said: “The big money is not in the buying and selling, but in the waiting.” So I am patiently waiting, are you? | km85
22/7/2019 11:08 | Decent volume so far, augers well for a nice move up into the 80's. | astralvision
22/7/2019 10:58 | Yes Future has done well and coincides with my theory of stocks, buy low, sell high. Having bought XLM at 50p I am now receiving a high dividend. I see no reason at the moment to sell at 80p. My only doubt would be of Ory banging on about EPS. Yes, I would like to see a higher EPS, but from growth of the company and not through artificial means such as we are seeing now. I like the idea of dropping Media for higher profit revenues and besides, the Media side is in decline anyway. The company has plenty of opportunity massively and there is nothing to say it is not going to so far. The US certainly does provide this opportunity with the legalisation of gambling online from one state to another like dominoes. 21% so far have legalised, so plenty more to come. Also worth noting, XLM has experience in this already having already gone through the process with certain scandinavia countries. So, while this 80p larky is all fun and games, I am happy to collect my high, progressive dividend and continue to wait on a higher price to sell. | 123gmtrader
22/7/2019 10:51 | There she goes, sell for >80p now.Needs new tender offer, suggest they pitch it around 100p | astralvision
22/7/2019 10:06 | Anyone taking up the offer? | 1squintyflinty
22/7/2019 10:06 | It's marginal at current levels. No dealing costs, but there seems a more than decent chance these will be well over 80p soon so I think the take up will be limited. | astralvision
22/7/2019 10:03 | Anyone taking up the offer? | 1squintyflinty
22/7/2019 09:02 | Seller now cleared. That overhead supply didn't last long. | eagle eye
22/7/2019 08:59 | have you noticed that after 80p, the . next line of stock is at 190p | onjohn
22/7/2019 08:58 | The first buy at 80p just in | onjohn
22/7/2019 08:57 | Not until the 277K seller at 80p has been cleared it won't. | eagle eye
22/7/2019 08:54 | i can see these taking off now volume has driedup | onjohn
22/7/2019 08:53 | cancelled my acceptance of 80p I want that 100p | onjohn
22/7/2019 08:52 | As I said, should of just carried on the buyback as it is better for the company to buy at a lower price. Lets face it, if you wanted to sell, you wouldn't just want to sell 10%. This offer is stupid imo. Buyback better for the company and better for the investor. | 123gmtrader
22/7/2019 08:48 | The bid on H/L is 79.125p- offer is 79.90p so I cannot see many taking up the tender offer | malcolmmm
22/7/2019 08:04 | KM85Yes, that's my conclusion as well, if this tender offer doesn't get the required uptake they can make a new offer when this one has expired in a few weeks time. | astralvision
21/7/2019 20:46 | The current offer is valid for less than a month, they can make a new offer if they have to with a new fixed price. | km85
21/7/2019 19:02 | You could be right but I suspect it's a bit more involved than that. The offer is currently open, I'm not sure they can just pull this offer and do another one. You could say they just increase the price of this one, but there is no mechanism to do that and that also has tax implications for those tendering.I agree it makes sense to increase the offer, but tend to doubt it will happen for the above reasons. We will see. | astralvision
21/7/2019 18:24 | Just another rns and new form Not hard to do Be good to see these at 100p this week | onjohn
21/7/2019 10:07 | smith have you bought anymore? | timmy11
21/7/2019 09:13 | I don't think there is the facility to do that. I've read the small print and the but back is fixed at 80p.To change that they would have to do another buy back.Delighted to be proved wrong, but if anyone knows a mechanism as to how they can change the buy back price , post away! | astralvision
21/7/2019 07:25 | Wont be surprised if the offer price for the tender is increased to 100p this week or next | onjohn
19/7/2019 17:37 | 123gmtrader, exactly. If the company manages to buy the 19M shares then your dividends will be bigger in November and forward. | km85
19/7/2019 17:19 | The only difference I see is that the tender offer is done quicker than the buyback. Either way, it has the same end result. | 123gmtrader |
