Thanks for the praise enjoin , it's always welcome ! The phrase " Clearing an overhang " , as used by SCSW , is very interesting . Shan't make any further comments on the SCSW article , as the magazine only reached subscribers six days ago .

Two nice big transactions this afternoon which , judging by the prices paid , were indeed " buys " . Given that they were both for large quantities of shares , surely they were by an institution . Also , as they were only 28 minutes apart , probably by the same institution . They were : 1/. 13.34 pm 250,000 shares @ 71.75p , totalling £ 179,375.00 ; 2/. 14.02 pm 225,000 shares @ 72.50p , totalling £ 163,125.00 . Presumably it wasn't Swedbank which , according to Small Company Share Watch , sold its 10.55 million shares near the bottom at 52p , thereby clearing an overhang ( Swedbank apparently paid 198p ! ) ( page 8 of SCSW ) .

Berenberg could only find 12k for the buyback last night looks like overhang cleared now. Any good news now would push this to 90-100p range on chart imho
