Early February this year we had 20 shares that had fallen over 50% since 31.12.07
Tonight's close there are 296.This does not include Aim stocks.
Aim stocks there are 237 that have fallen over 50%.
FTSE 100 stocks there are 2---hbos and lse
FTSE 250 there are 20

I apologise for my headline I saw an headline and read it wrong.
Todays Dow 30 closed 3% down.
Since 31.12.07 in % terms it is the worst day this year.
Other bad days this year.

15.1.08 -2.2%
5.2.08 -2.9%
29.2.08 -2.5%
6.6.08 -3.1%

have them too close and you just get stopped out with the noise, too far away and you get stopped out for a bigger loss, and when you're in profit you just close out fearing you'll lose it when if you'd left it, it would have made you 5x as much.

It would be interesting to hear the thoughts from any angle of all you knowledgable pros on advfn.

I can't find a recent Portfolio Problem thread apart from

When I click on Portfolio I get a blank screen

It happened just as I clicked on buy after entering buy info

Anyone experiencing anything similar?
