I normally do go to Support@.. - or just phone them. Generally find them helpful. Mark seems good.

Of course sometimes the problem IS at users end. The "Ctrl+refresh" cures a lot of ills.

As regards the advfn replies on the boards, the responce from advfn usually seems to be to refer problem to support@... (who usually reply that the problem is at users end).
but I'll take a look thru the suggested ones.... tnx

Notice one competitor website encourages reports of problems vis the discussion threads and has a "Please report bugs and enhancements" thread on which it is said "If you have any enhancements you would like to see to the service, or you have spotted a bug anywhere, please feel free to post here and we will investigate as necessary."

All over the place. Anyone with ADVFN shares watch out. So many people must have left with this awful service, subscriptions must be well down. I had an e-mail response last week saying they would fix it and it would get better!! What a laugh!

Once again, INDU went on the blink today at around 1615 hrs, along with all live data feed to UK prices.

Now 'INDU' is back on, but the +/- figure is showing the DOW down around 30 pts, whereas it is actually down 100 pts. Come on ADVFN, we are paying good money but are not getting the service...

Actually Scribb, I get the live DOW feed, and possibly pay no more than your goodself, or certainly no nore than around £5 a month more than your goodself. It's my FTSE 100 feed which is 15 mins delayed.

Remarkable, a customer tells the company something is wrong and the company responds that nothing is wrong.

Same happenend with the SFR chart today. For the first half of the day it showed yesterdays chart then for the second half it was live.

I don't wish to fight with ADVFN at all as I use them daily but surely they have to improve their feeds.

You need a subscription that offers real time FTSE indices to see them in real time, otherwise they will be 15 minutes delayed.

As far as I can tell, Apple (ACP) does not trade on the LSE anymore so we do not have any recent data for it.

There is no problem with the FTSE feed at the moment. If you are unable to get a price you may want to try refreshing your monitor.
