22/1/2008 17:11 | On the same subject: I lost the Nasdaq from my mon list on the last 'site glitch', but I can't find the ticker to put it back in. Nasdaq ticker please ? NB: Is there a list of all indices symbols somewhere on the site ? I've looked, but can't find them. | hattori_hanzo

22/1/2008 17:05 | Thanks jp. it disappeared down 500 pts earlier, but seems to be ok now. Any chance you could make the dax disappear too ? | pickymicky

18/1/2008 03:12 | Morning lee. Just to let you know the multi symbol calculator is updating as of tonight, but both US & European data is incorrect. The single symbol calculator is also giving incorrect data for the Dow... | j8grc
17/1/2008 08:58 | Thanks lee. I'm aware of those. Just trying to do my bit for the planet by only printing one sheet. Yee, it's a lot easier when it's on one sheet and it keeps my desk clear. - It's still not updating as of now. Hope your'e making lots..........Good luck!! | j8grc

30/6/2007 18:15 | Interest rates did go up on Friday, therefore I can see a good 500 point loss on the DOW over the course of next week. | lord santafe
29/6/2007 02:32 | Well the DOW is going to crash tomorrow. Just look at the chart, well overvalued. | lord santafe
28/6/2007 15:28 | Oh great, sounds like my short on the DOW has a chance which is already in a 160 loss since yesterday. I will wait it out till it is in profit. quotes_4_u, you are quite right, could of hung onto my £40 long on BBAY which I closed for a £400 profit yesterday. I could of made £2000 on that long if I hung onto it. Also I did the same with TAN, HTG and BA. Often I am getting out of a long position and change it to a short one on a stock and it never works out for me. | lord santafe
28/6/2007 13:32 | Depends on the Feds decision this evening imo. Results at 7:15PM UK or so I believe. If Fed raises rates then the market could be in difficulty. If rates stay the same then the market could rise. If the Fed cuts rates then the market will go ballistic and you'll be happy that you are long. Bear in mind though that the last scenario is the most likely. Once the rate decision has been announced then attention will focus on inflation, sub-prime, inventory etc etc. | liarspoker
28/6/2007 13:26 | But if so Stephen have you the patience to wait for that to happen ! Can you go a week without a trade waiting for the right moment to make your move ! That is where you always fail, you have the gamblers theory of waking up and having to make say £100 a day and chasing it all the way if the tide starts against you. | quotes_4_u
28/6/2007 13:23 | Seems simple logic, if the DOW is up over 90 points it will always loose the gain either on the same day or the next day. That is what has happened the last 3 days. | lord santafe
15/6/2007 22:03 | Hi moregas, welcome, we have been waiting on you. What do yo think of the story so far? | robert crabtree
14/6/2007 22:30 | or this.... another for 30,000 late 2008 | moregas
14/6/2007 22:22 | So only 16,000 points left. You could make a bit of money there! :) | moregas |
