29/11/2018 16:13 | I just noticed the bid for Flagship Global is 1c! 2018-11-28 Q FGCN 0.555 0.01 1.09 so the spread it 1 - 109, with a mid price of 55c, what's not to like? | ![]() andy
29/11/2018 09:51 | RLL, Well "easily tradaeble" is very subjective, and someone with a Sharecentre account may not be able to trade stocks a Barclays or HL account can. So not sure how you can define it, and easy to see both sides claiming victory in the bet now, victory parades in Baghdad spring to mind. I would suggest Frankfurt Open Market, OTCBB, and the CSE are not easily tradeable from the average UK account. | ![]() andy
29/11/2018 09:08 | Andy/van - I think 'easily tradable' was the basis the wagers. I don't think it would benefit Whetstone to burn cash on switching from one low status lobster pot to another - hence my confidence that there will not be a listing any time soon. In any case I will not be wriggling out of my 'Gary Lineker' bet on any lame technicalities or creative interpretations and hope that JJW will do the same. #Calvin Klein trunks on standby :) | ratherlargelobster
29/11/2018 08:44 | Mornin JJW Any news on the Listing yet ? There's rumours of Iceland but IMO it could be Lidl or Happy Shopper :) | ratherlargelobster
29/11/2018 08:40 | Van, well that will be the get out clause to the bet if any announcement of a move is made, IMO. So if it's addressed now, people can't duck it afterwards! As GSC has German investors onboard, a move to Frankfurt for WHET looks a distinct possibility, IMO. If not Frankfurt OM, they could look at the OTCBB, NEX (again), or the CSE. None of those would likely get much traction in the UK, in fact the BRITDAQ might be easier to trade than some of those for UK based investors. I wonder if they've changed the marketing focus to Germany? | ![]() andy
29/11/2018 08:33 | The only addition needed is 'forget it' nobody's seriously gong to play that game. A bit like WRN/WHET just dreaming. | ![]() vaneric1
28/11/2018 23:03 | Arthur, As I posted on the other thread, the argument may well turn to the subjective view of what constitutes a "proper market". We should all agree now before any move is announced. I say the Frankfurt Open Market, (and other German minor exchanges), and the OTCBB are not "proper markets", do you agree? Does anyone have any further additions? | ![]() andy |
