24/11/2018 19:43 | Skinny telling SK to watch his back, smacks of desperation. If anything did happen to SK, SkinnyBasoo's would be one of the first doors the police would knock on. | ![]() roydyor
24/11/2018 18:53 | Why is that Skinny B? Might I get another laughable e-mail from AE's pathetic lawyer to respond to by teaching him about what the law actually says? I look forward to the opportunity, but as it has been exactly 21 months since AE threatened on his ludicrous Blog "Separately "Sweet Karolina" has elected not to provide his or her full name and address. Should that continue to be the case then we will be applying for substituted service [which does not exist in UK Law]." I doubt I will get it, but live in hope I always say. | ![]() sweet karolina

24/11/2018 17:15 | WRN shareholders should sue AE for tortious interference - the evidence is really clear his Blog post did interfere with the NEX listing, which has had financial consequences for those who would have dumped their holdings on the mug punters who had not learned anything by virtue of being WRN holders. The question of intent is a bit of a dodgy one in AE's case, but the trolls who go around threatening anyone with an honestly held negative opinion posted on these threads do not seem to think the inability to prove intent is any sort of barrier to a successful claim. Talking of TI any sign of that private prosecution of Stevenson? | ![]() sweet karolina
24/11/2018 11:16 | The key bit being: "NEX has decided in its wisdom that Whetstone Capital Group plc is not suitable to be listed on its Growth Market. The reason given was Aidan Earley’s blog of 15th December." | ![]() davidkip
24/11/2018 11:14 | "LETTER TO SHAREHOLDERS - January 4th 2018 Dear Shareholders NEX has decided in its wisdom that Whetstone Capital Group plc is not suitable to be listed on its Growth Market. The reason given was Aidan Earley’s blog of 15th December. Admission was applied for on 14th December and was accepted by NEX. Click here for link to the Admission Document. (hxxp://whetstone.ca NEX felt that Aidan’s blog post breached my undertaking to them regarding the source of funds for the new company. I was asked to clarify and did so with both City & Merchant and HFW, the company’s corporate and legal advisers confirming in writing that no such breach of my undertaking had occurred. While we await formal confirmation, it would seem that my advisors’ and my confirmations are not sufficient to allow the admission to go forward. As a result, I, as the principal financier of Whetstone, have decided to go forward as a public company, notwithstanding that it is not currently traded on a regulated market. An off-market platform will be arranged whereby the shares can be traded and the offer of free shares is still open. I would remind shareholders in WRN that the offer of free shares closes on 5th February. Nominee holders should contact City & Merchant to arrange for the receipt of their share certificates. It is a shame that we were not able to provide you with a fully traded entity but I have every intention that Whetstone will be a successful and effective investment company going forward. The company is still a registered Alternative Investment Fund and will continue to be managed by City & Merchant Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Allan Biggar Guildford Street Capital Limited" | ![]() davidkip
24/11/2018 11:14 | Andy - Allan explicitly stated that NEX pulled the listing BECAUSE of Aidan's blog entry of 15th Dec 2017. I'll dig out the text Allan posted on the WHET site at the time. | ![]() davidkip
24/11/2018 10:26 | David, Yes that blog entry looks like a real mistake, in hindsight. Maybe written immediately after the rejection, and in haste, which is what I thought at the time. | ![]() andy |
