Erm, I never said you should allow a stock to fall by 50% did I.

It may do for you, but as Jack Schwager and his books demonstrate, there are many many ways to make a living from the market.

I am assuming you are familiar with his seminal series of books..

But if one allows a 50% loss to happen and one has a 50% win/loss ratio, 5 of your 10 stocks will lose 50%.

Trading is simple, your average win needs to be higher than your average loss. How do you trade profitably if you allow losses to run as much as 50%?

If you lose 10% you only need to make 11%
If you lose 50% you’ll need to make 100%

Basic maths and risk management

Using the 80/20 rule 80% of your profit comes from 20% of your trades

Unfortunately I don't, that's for the analysts and FA types, not for pure chartist types like me I'm afraid. Sorry.

With that said though, as I am sure you are aware, ten positions equally split over ten different companies, means that if one has a 50% fall, your whole portfolio only has to rise 6% to get back to break even. Basic maths and risk mgt really.

So I guess you have no bottom price target then
I am struggling to see a decent support if it doesn't go above 1675 pretty quick,
We have a good support around 981 but that seems unlikely to drop that low.
I think I will wait it out a bit.

I am a big chart believer, on daily charts, but as I don't hold overnight positions, I let the market tell me where it wants to go, plus using live charts, level 2 and a probability mindset, I do alright.

I thought the RNS wasn't great either, as it was, the market thought that as well, hence it didn't open for at least five minutes.

The price is really good on a long term view, but the chart isn't on a medium and still looks like more to come, although with the large drop, it could complete the monthly down cycle as early as September (Start or End).
That doesn't mean it will go up straight away, just the drop has finished.
