Seriously guys and gals, if Caesars have the "no sell to list or we tear up the USA agreement", how can Apollo get it's hands on the US business, which is the growth opportunity. The UK business will be more tightly regulated i.e. lower profits when MPs do their gambling legislation review. Trading volume has dropped significantly over the last two days. All views appreciated, bulls and bears.

Just a question Spartan. Why do you think it will fall to 200 before the 23rd October. I could see it falling after that if the TO falls through but not before so I’d just like to know your thoughts

There's never been a TO fall through due to PIs not voting for it.

I have just received a copy of the takeover document. On the face of it the offer appears reasonable, with 'ifs and buts' about economics thrown in; especially tighter European regulation.

My take is that WMH have a highly developed software platform called Liberty and is highly scaleable. In June it successfully raised £224M and was oversubscribed. This money was used to support the balance sheet and help with promotions in the US market. It also recently took up a promising relationship with the national broadcaster CBS.
As WMH stands Caesars estimate they could jointly generate between $600 to $700M in FY2021.

So if we accept the offer we will not see any of the capital or dividend growth Caesars anticipate. Also we will lose out on the growth with CBS and the aquisition benefits of Mr Green in Europe.

Funny thing. I think Spartan Attack is John09, John09 vanishes from ALL his usual bbs and Spartan appears, then John become active again on GAN and spartan becomes inactive. See the coloration?

It seems you all see risk on current profit, as very low, compared to a drop before any other potential buy

interesting

So the bet is on vertical from here in essence

Cant see that being the case

Be interesting though, if so

I bought in at an average of 134 and still see no reason to sell. With what has happened to the share price over the last 3-4 months, then sure, this looks like it’s got “carve up” written all over it but I only see 272 as rock bottom unless there is no takeover (which imo is an impossibility) and then Wmh will drop to pre takeover levels, but, and this is the big but, their position in the next huge betting market in the world is No.1!! Let’s wait and see what happens and for now I am happy to hold until at least the 23rd October. Good luck all.

Boss of Caesars on CNBC already putting the Hills online unit on the table for spinning off...wonder why the boss of Hills with his 2m bonus for staying and heading up of a private equity take out unit has got into bed so easily...'Shareholders have been sold down the river, Hills should have spun off the unit themselves after NFL season started....
