Not really true

Just depends on timeframe

Bears hammered here if short say 50p recently

But bullish investors hammered since 2013

If we were to take the worst hit funds based on short time windows, wouldn’t it be Warren Buffets Hathway top of the list?

Fact is bears and bulls get hammered in equal measure

All just down to timing really

Believe me, if I was super bullish , you Would be happy
I run a private forum , for a few of us from around the globe

I had a bet with them, that in equal measure, being an ignorant bear and an ignorant bull, nobody would have issue with the bull

So, I went on LSE and made 2 usernames

The test:

I made sure the ignorant bull posted 250% count of the ignorant bear. And I also made sure that the ignorant bull was far more ignorant haha

Anyway, to summarise, everyone went on about the ignorant bears post count (200% less than that of the bulls)

They went on about language (far better then the bull) , and then went on their merry way to discredit

It was an interesting little study to understand the mass retail psyche in markets

Conclusion anyway was:

Most bulls use forums as a subconscious comfort blanket. If all views are same, it reinforces their belief in own intelligence and so on

Anyone calling any other outcome, again, Subconsciously deemed as an attack on the bulls intelligence

I could go a lot deeper in this but suffice to say Tom
