Unfortunately I have been priced out of newspapers for sometime, the business section of the metro is is only half a page. Whitbread to the best of my knowledge don't acknowledge unions however if their managers were to allow their employees to breach working time regulations that could be expensive via an employment tribunal claim.

premier's I have visited have been pretty full (or completely full) lately and as they take bookings directly no commissions for booking.com etc which helps them compete

We don't have a lot of people post on this board, but the post from space cake seems to come from reading the business section of Sunday paper(I could be wrong and I apologise)
newspapers have got 3 things going they give u football/racing results, good for cleaning windows and can be cut into squares and Hung on nail in toilet.

The point I am trying to make, u Joe public are the best analysts as u see as u go about
your daily life see how many customers costa have got as there is plenty about, premier if u stay how full is the car park ,same goes for Table TABLE,Brewers fare&Beefeater.
Its comming up to xmas how full do u think the will be?
I don't know if u heard the statement UNITE PUT OUT ABOUT staff not getting their 20 minuetS break and not being paid extra, may be true but they would have missed out on tips if they did, some people don't tips some put it on the bill ,I give them money in their Hand usually £5.

Share price seems to stutter at 3600 and cant quite get any further but hopefully today will see to that and once through that barrier it'll quickly head for 4000.

Costa shops looking tired these days and in my opinion quality has gone downhill. But at least WTB have a steady business which is more than can be said for Centrica and some other big companies which have been in the news lately. Is this a good long term bet I ask myself?

The 614,000 share sale seems a bit sus,if bought this year and bought at bottom with no dealing charge max profit would be in the region off £113,295 at best, nice ,but could have waited unless a forced sale which has not greatly affected price, iam a bit sceptical, as buys have been shown as sells and vis versa MMs have there own agenda.

Hooray! finally heading in the right direction and staying there in a reasonable fashion. Has recently started higher but flattered to deceive each day and then the plunge lower begins. Hopefully the shorters will be thinking there are easier targets elsewhere.

Have held from nov last year and added to very recently. Investing to note that there really seems to been a recent pick up in Premier Inn prices. In addition the venture into Germany I believe it's going to be extremely fruitful. Yes Costa standalone houses is a slight worry but issues overplayed . That said I would like Management to bring in something to stand out from the crowd. Why not a something like a tie up with a telecoms firm with money off pay and you go re phone top ups with codes on receipts .

I would not worry too much, markets turned around noon when market turn this SHOULD rise,
the festive season is nearly upon us and when the analysts sober up and see what is in front off their noses they SHOULD upgrade this stock, but saying this I know a few and they are not that savvy,i have done my assessment thru visit to premier & costa and I am happy, plenty of bums on seats as they say. DYO

PS THE SHORTERS WILL HAVE TO CLOSE THEIR POSITIONS SOON

Hope you are right because at the moment its catch a falling knife time! It struggles up to around 3600 and then plummets only to battle its way up again but seems to be more comfortable on the reverse.

Looks cheap at these levels. EPS around 280p so P/E now just 13. Should be trading above 4000p minimum.
