The latest talk on TV is that most likely the rest of the country will be following London into tier 4 soon after Christmas.

New Variant covid19 - school lock downs.

Good for home/remote learning generally.

A rising tide raises all boats.

Nice few buys in, some reasonable purchases this week and if you look at the monthly chart we are in a uptrend. January is going to be a troublesome month for U.K. schools, newsnight yesterday had a nice piece on U.K. schools and attendance (about half way through the programme). Basically schools are running at 80% capacity due to teacher or student self isolating

and that assumes no setbacks in vaccine supplies, logistics or virus mutations etc

Still I can see why some are buying. If it takes 1 week to do a million doses (that is a big ask ) and you need 2 doses it will probably take at least 100 weeks before 3/4 of population vaccinated.
That means home school and or remote learning is going to be here all through 2021 and probably well into 2022.

bigboyblue: There is no mention of app so this is a pure WEB based development. There is no mention of voice recognition either (eg you can plug in to Samsung Bixby if you so wished to run APIs) - so its purely mouse click web pages....
Possibly with plug in APIs to AI and games etc etc.

(full stack - this means you do the front-end (html etc), back-end (c#) and databases (not named but probably no-SQL and SQL).

Is a job for an average web developer who has about 10 years experience.

Cheers Net.

Wey now advertising for a 'Senior Full Stack Developer'. Doesn't mean much to me as I'm tech dinosaur, but this is apparently what such a person does:

'Senior developer coding (C#), design and architecture of all Wey applications using Microsoft Azure cloud platform (PaaS and IaaS) and Dynamics 365

- Develop Wey applications using Azure and .NET Core, DevOps, and private API development, serverless and messaging architectures, public and private networking, relational and non-relational databases, and automated testing technologies

- Implement new initiatives in artificial intelligence, gamification, and virtual reality

- Continuously analysing technology opportunities and work with development team peers to implement'

This sounds to me like a new development for WEy; can anyone interpret it a bit?
