1jbrisky: Its not that the market did not like the results (they are fine) its just that negatively affected covid stocks are ROCKETING up and people want to move money to those.

When the dust settles they will still want some money in INTERNET EDUCATION as it is the future ....

It works, its cheap and it creates a whole new world of opportunity.
Invest for the future not the present.

Having said that I currently only own a fraction of my original stake.

Market don't like results and I've just sold out.
Those of you enthused by these results should take a second look.
No forward guidance.
No enrolment figures for current year.
No Sept/Oct financial update.
P/E of high 70's.
Market cap at 3.5 sales.
Profit per employee of £2,500 pa.
This is a board full of lazy left wing luvvies who whilst enjoying their benefits and selling their options as soon as they become available, don't like work.
200 employees for 8m turnover? I know a local builders yard that turns over more.
I wish you all well, especially netcurtains whose enthusiasm for this company seems endless.
Covid has provided WEY with the opportunity of a lifetime and the board have butchered it.

Delivered to forecast profit perfectly. Suspect additional marketing investments this year to enhance next year part of that. Looks set for £12m revenue next year by my reckoning with 10% increase in prices. Boded well.

Good solid results, bodes well for the future. In for another 22.3k this morning for the long term. Tried to buy during yesterday's dip but Halifax seemed to be swamped and it took multiple attempts to just log in - managed to buy just now at 29.9p so still lower than would have been the case without yesterday's exuberence.

The vaccine is amazing news. It will take time to reach the masses though. Wey is / will continue to be a fortunate beneficiary of C19 and many children will have tried online education for the 1st time as a result. It couldn't have asked for more of a marketing shot.

Wey has built up a decent stock price with the help of COVID, whether in reality it does help the business model is another question, but the idea of children staying home from school has certainly been progressed by COVID. I would expect a fall in the share price short term as you're seeing with anything COVID related, G4M, BOO, ASC, etc, but some are rational and some not so much.I'm sure the update will shed more light on what we can expect in a less COVID fearful world, even if COVID is still a thing for several years.

having said that i really have no idea.
Nearly all trades are buys so that looks a good sign.
