12 x the number of cases in France we have here at the moment Far more people in Europe are wearing masks .I see very few people now with them on here ,and they get stared at like freaks .This country hasnt got a clue ,and we will pay for it dearly. Leadership comes from the top ,and there is none .Should have voted Rory .

I'm certain restrictions are coming shortly .Like it or not the lack of mask wearing and the blasé way people have gone about their business ,forgetting this is a very dangerous disease, have caused us to be in a similar situation to last year .I can't see it getting quite as bad,but it's not good for hospitality. The vaccine is waining and a mate has said already he's not going into crowded pubs etc.How many more will choose to do the same like I've mentioned before .They don't always need lockdown ,people make their own decisions when they see hundreds dieing each day .

I believe we will pay the price for non mask wearing in the near future .Slow rollout of booster jabs is happening, and we could be in a difficult position once again shortly. We have the highest case numbers in the world .Hospitalisation and death is rising .Let's hope it doesn't get so serious for more restrictions, but I fear people not wearing masks and going about as though we have no Covid will come back to bite us .

Would expect a lot more pub closures to come over the next 12 months,
so that should benefit the strongest remaining operators.

In defence of Guitar there are strange occurrences happening to friends and family .Brother in law found his mum yesterday on the floor. She had the booster recently. She has COPD and now in a very bad way .Don't think she will make it .A mates mum was found at the bottom of the stairs 2 weeks ago ..She had cracked ribs and not sure what caused it or what's happened since .I found mum on the floor and sickness for over 2 weeks a month ago .They are all elderly people and I suppose it's what happens at that age .Or is it something worth conspiracy?

We could have locked down early, and opened when we had high vaccine coverage .Xmas in July this year waiting 6 months, would have saved 1000s of lives .We knew we had the vaccine coming for the sensible people .It depends if you value life over money. I do .

Taiwan deaths are going up, as vaccine rollout is not as good as ours .The viral load, which is the concentration of the virus in the throat and nose, is 1,000 times higher with delta than with the original virus. The reproductive number, which is the average number of people that one infected person will pass on the virus to, averages 5.1 for delta, compared with 2.8 with the initial virus. This is the difference between a possible 200 extra infections transmitted from a single case in three weeks, compared with 15 new infections with the original virus.Zero-COVID has been effective at preventing deaths and allowing a certain level of normality within national borders in countries that moved rapidly to shut their borders, and where the geographical, political and economic factors were favourable. No countries in Europe or the Americas attempted it. But the huge jump in virus transmissibility and the swift development of highly effective vaccines has forced changes in the response.A high price to payThe standout countries now are those, like Singapore, that kept case numbers and deaths low and moved quickly to reach high vaccine coverage levels. New Zealand and Australia, at 40%-50% coverage, are playing vaccine catchup and are at risk. China has reached 75%, but Taiwan and Vietnam are lagging far behind.
