Coming here Very soon3. If you get infected, being vaccinated helps. The good news is that among Israel's serious infections on Thursday of this week, according to Health Ministry data, the rate of serious cases among unvaccinated people over age 60 (178.7 per 100,000) was nine times more than the rate among fully vaccinated people of the same age category, and the rate of serious cases among unvaccinated people in the under-60 crowd (3.2 per 100,000) was a little more than double the rate among vaccinated people in that age bracket. The bad news, doctors say, is that half of Israel's seriously ill patients who are currently hospitalized were fully vaccinated at least five months ago. Most of them are over 60 years old and have comorbidities. The seriously ill patients who are unvaccinated are mostly young, healthy people whose condition deteriorated quickly.Israel's daily average number of infections has nearly doubled in the past two weeks and has increased around tenfold since mid-July, approaching the numbers during Israel's peak in the winter. Deaths increased from five in June to at least 248 so far this month. Health officials say that currently 600 seriously ill patients are hospitalized, and they warn they cannot handle more than 1,000 serious infections at the same time.

Just as I saidThe perfect Storm comingdips over time.Israel had fully vaccinated slightly over half its population by March 25. Infections waned, venues reopened to the vaccinated and the prime minister told Israelis to go out and have fun. By June, all restrictions, including indoor masking, were abolished. But Israel paid a price for the early rollout. Health officials, and then Pfizer, said their data showed a dip in the vaccine's protection around six months after receiving the second shot.

There are still 6 million of you that haven't been vaccinated. Plus all under 16s .Masks should have never not been compulsory on public transport. Madness from the Govt yet again

Vaccine seems to be going well then?

Could we all be forced to wear masks again? Ministers plan stronger guidance on face coverings in case Covid hospital numbers keep rising amid concern over falling compliance on trains and in supermarkets

Labour would never get back those seats in the North with a return to the EU policy. That wont happen. The only chance Labour has,is if Andy Burnham became leader .Hes very popular in the North. I argued with my 3 mates ,that was all former Labour supporters ,about why they switched votes . They all voted Tory because of brexit, although one said because he didn't want Diane Abbott as home secretary lol.

Nobody has ever said there may be no problems with Vaccine, but there would be far more problems without vaccine .Without vaccine ,pubs and other hospitality venues ,would never get back to anywhere near normality. Thank your lucky stars we have Vaccine .

So they now come out and tell you it causes heart issues..

Chris Whitty 'will approve Covid jabs for teenagers because it will boost their mental health and social development' but 12-15 year olds may only get ONE dose because of rare heart complication risk

No distancingPeople crowded into small venues No masks 6 million adults without vaccineChildren no vaccine to help transmission We will still get into the high hundreds of people dieing and high hospitalisation ,as we go into winter.Just not 2000 plus a day that would have gone without vaccine .When people see those numbers people will CHOOSE not to visit ,and Govt won't help this time Those days have gone .

No vaccines ,and there would be 2000 a day dieing each day and not 180 .

Of course these vaccines won't stop it. It's a coronavirus same as a common cold and there are thousands of strains already. The cold virus changes constantly as does this. If these vaccines really did work as intended, with 80% now vaccinated, most with 2 jabs, you would expect maybe several hundred new cases a day at most, not 30 odd thousand. Double vaccinated and you can get the same viral load as an unvaccinated making you just as infectious will guarantee to keep it coming in large numbers. That's why passports are an absolute nonsense.

Vaccines are to PREVENT you getting the illness in the first place. That is why you are vaccinated against TB, Measles, Diphtheria, Polio and the list goes on. You also have a proper vaccine once and it lasts for years and sometimes a lifetime. This is not a vaccine they have been forcing onto people and it never was.

My mates son no longer visits the pub, as he's a self employed electrician, and doesn't want to risk having to isolate, as cases rise. How many more are doing that ????Habits may have changed permanently.
