I've been in a few around the newcastle ,durham area and they have been pretty busy .Some items are missing though ,and that didn't happen before covid /brexit .I'm pretty sure they aren't back to precovid levels, as it was always difficult to get a table ,and thats now not the case. The prices are great ,but the issue of the tables must put some off .Address that and I feel most of the opposition will die off eventually. I dont think much of Covid these days .If I don't, it must be out of a lot of peoples minds lol.

Your right about sticky tables is an issue in nearly every spoons I go in.Think it's "kids" buying those trays of shots or jugs and spilling them but still not acceptable.

Why has this been falling back the last few weeks....generally Covid seems to have stabilised and for many is in the rear view mirror....life seems to be getting back to more normal wherever I go.....surely confidence in the hospitality sector should be strengthening, not waning

These known health conditions are things such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Many people over 50 have these conditions as I do .My friend that died last year was on tablets for blood pressure ,and would have almost certainly still been here without catching Covid .She was only 68 .I actually don't know anyone that doesn't have an underlying health condition. One has had a heart attack, another diabetes, another high blood pressure and the list goes on .Its hard to find anyone that is perfectly healthy. Maybe drinking in Spoons has been the problem lol

AND had no other (known) health issues.

A simple distinction that even Gobbie should understand.

blusteradjuster 15 Sep '21 - 21:36 - 10052 of 10057

Thought it was just 59 COVID deaths in the UK between Jan 2021 and July 2021 amongst people who were both double-vaxxed AND had no other (known) health issues.
