they've lost the plot Gozzie, clueless on containment and control.

As my trader name suggests, i worked in search and rescue for 18 years, left the service in 2001 - shortly after that, we had Foot and Mouth Disease and the Countryside was shut down, control measures were put in place for travel in the countryside and after the Event a masterplan was written up as a result of the debrief, whilst this plan, which is very comprehensive and may apply to any further Foot and Mouth Outbreak, this plan could have been tweeked to accommodate Urban Environments - however as far as I'm aware, the Plan hasn't even been looked at.

Some of these places don't want outsiders .Glossop in Derbyshire have put posters up in the windows of several pubs saying only locals wanted as they are in tier 2 and dont want people from tameside where I am or Manchester. I'm not sure if wetherspoons is one of them .Strange as I had a phone call about 10 days ago from Derbyshire Council saying I had been in the wetherspoons and 2 people had the virus in there through track and trace. He said dont worry if you have no symptoms( this was about 6 days after I had been in )you dont have to isolate, its just if I find theres about 8 out of the 150 I ring have symptoms the pub may need a deepclean. What if I was asymptomatic .I found it odd .

John, it would be fairly simple to work our JDW future turnover based on historic T/O plus the effect "controlled measures" - just need to know how many Spoons are in Wales, how many in NI and how many throughout the UK serve food, from there you ought to be able to get a very rough idea of what Spooons will do going forward. Controlled measures have reduced capacities with new capacities between 30% - 50%.

It's a very simple equation. Lockdown = no revenue = nothing to pay bills and wages with = redundancies.

Commuter towns and seaside resorts bear the brunt with a MILLION more people facing the dole before Christmas when furlough scheme ends this weekend

Millions unemployed, homes repossessed, bankruptcy, families destroyed, generations indebted, countless died from undiagnosed and untreated chronic illnesses. Thats how this China Virus will be looked back on.

Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak are Globilists who have continued to rebuild Communist China with tax free imports from China..

Just watch them punish the British public with a Covid tax in the next budget to recover the cost of the virus.

Rishi Sunak could be covering the cost and more £ the easy way..

With the Trump way..VIDEO

Unlikely to happen, in terms of the duration, but yes I'm sure
there are phase 4 plans in place - which is how it may be referred to.

A major issue with COVID-19 and what differentiates it from seasonal influenza
and pneumonia, is the number of hospitalisations caused by the infection.
Transmisibility is the other aspect.

A mild flu season would be very helpful.

Extremely. Maybe its best to be like my mum she's late 80s and like the lady on the news wont shield .She will take her chances she says and thats the correct attitude as long as the health service can cope .I just fear they won't in the winter months .This is manchester.Council and government officials are reportedly considering extra restrictions if the current tier system has not made an improvement by mid-November.According to  iNews, discussions are underway over a potential plan B, which could include a 'Tier 3 plus' or 'Tier 4'.The website reports measures under Tier 4 - which has not been officially announced or decided but is reportedly being discussed - could include shutting restaurants and non-essential retail such as clothes shops.

Rescuer yes fine thanks just went on a rant lol .Yes I just think some people don't take this serious and flu is just as bad .Credible docs say around 10 percent have had the virus around 6 million .I personally don't know anyone that's definitely had it and I'm right in the middle of the hotspot .The figures worldwide are 0.3 percent die with it hospitalisation much higher .To get herd immunity we need at least 50 million to catch it and so deaths must go way higher eventually. When the flu season is here the hospitals will be in big trouble .Its been proven now that the virus lingers in the air for 3 to 4 hours indoors and with poor ventilation and many in my area still don't wear masks .I have a feeling they will eventually close wetherspoons as well as restaurants cafes shortly .We shall see there is no easy answer. The only way was total lockdown superb track and trace and very strict quarantine of people coming into the country like new Zealand. That won't happen so I'm afraid the only hope is ive got it totally wrong .

Gozzie, hope you are well. The new projections have been updated on the World Site, based on hospitalisations in the UK, the UK will run out out of ICU beds on 28th October, this had been revised down from 29th October - ffs, thats not reading well, although there is a margin waiver on the figures, (but not much).

You people always quote figures but forget we have had a strict lockdown for months .Thats why the figures are not as high .Fairly obvious I would have thought. Let all the people out then and see what happens. You can forget a tory govt ever again .

The figure of 200000 deaths is not unreasonable if its let loose and they would be at the same time .Just let them die throughout the year is the strategy to not overwhelm the NHS and stall until a vaccine which is possible early next year .If not by next October it will be 200000 deaths .

It was the who but I admit it was early on and obviously the less people that are tested the figures won't be correct its probably not that high .Im in the hotspot of the country and don't know one person thats had it .All I'm saying is that this can get a lot worse in winter because a lot are obviously shielding and may eventually catch it .If the president and prime minister are hospitalised its serious .They are not doing it for nothing they are losing votes in the north for fun .Tell me a good reason why they are locking down for their benefit.
