Thing is at present its pure speculation seems to be a knew lockdown measure making the headline every few hours.

Shutting pubs will be a huge move and pretty embarrassing for the Boris as it basically will be seen as a mistake HE made and really can't see him doing it unless he really has too.

Pub bosses warn ministers that shutting bars again 'will destroy jobs' after government Sage adviser said closing may be a trade-off to get children back to school

Vintners have warned closing bars could put millions of people out of work

But senior Tory MP Iain Duncan Smith said it was a ‘false choice’ to say pubs should close to allow schools to open. The former Tory leader pleaded for Ministers to ensure both are kept open.

He told The Mail on Sunday that impending ‘economic Armageddon’ was a far greater risk than Covid-19.

Spoons shut voluntarily - not forced to do so - because all staff are self isolating and can't, immediately, get enough replacement staff.

I think there will be an initial markdown on monday but then it depends on whether there are genuine sellers about but I don't see a massive drop.Although increased over the weekend the risk of another shutdown was still very much there on Friday.

I believe as unemployment increases and public sector debt grows a full scale lockdown of any sector is not happening. Localised lockdowns in extreme cases like Leicester will happen. If business is shown to be cause of an outbreak it will close for a period of time.Trade off for schools opening may have already occurred with yesterday's decision to slow down the opening of society.I expect tomorrow some politician on Marr or Ridge will confirm nothing has been decided.Have a good evening.
