Gleaned from RNS - Members of the public are not entitled to participate in the placing.

On a quick read of the RNS - yes a pre-emptive placing to raise £150 million - no price mentioned.

'Big Tim' gets a little smaller!

At least the Australians say it as it is, unlike the spinless British MPs who pander to Communist China..

You’ll probably need a tattoo on your forehead to say you’ve been vacinated and made impotent before they let you back in the pub, or overseas right?

Anyway I have a short position here. The tills are closed for crying out lound!

It will be years before any pub is a viable business again, in fact it might never be normal again.

Fear rules.

‘ two or three pints per customer’

Ridiculous , you just go from pub to pub

Last I heard the tills were closed with no sign fo reopening

A lot of joviality on this thread, but no-one seriously discussing the economic reality.

That is, JDW currently has no income. The furlough scheme will only last so long. The virus doesn't look safe in Boris's hands and is unlikely to recede unless pubs remain closed or severely restricted. Along with airlines, they are at the back of the re-opening queue.

JDW shares may well creep up to £12 on hope and expectation, but at the current time it's a complete punt.

Well , the obvious question is . So people have two pints in pub one .
Then go onto the next one for another two . Etc . Also known as a pub crawl .
How does Mr Landlord know not to serve them ?

Now , we use 'spoons a lot (sadly not recently) though never for breakfast
as my tummy can't handle a big brekky !
Surely people don't go in and have a yummy "Full English" (I wish I could)
and wash it down with a pint ? At eight in the morning ?

Dunno . You tell me .

Now they want to ration beer: Britons could face two or three pint limit when pubs reopen

pubs could reopen if landlords rationed beer to two or three pints per customer then asked them to go home to help with social distancing measures, it has been claimed.
