14/7/2011 18:50 | Tomboyb, the NAV excludes any value for PLEI as a realistic business proposition, and the NAV you qute is at 31/12/10, since when the investments have done rather well and are now worth the amounts in my post, providing a significant uplift as you say. The value for PLEI is subjective, but £1m appears reasonable given the profit. The contingent liability is WST's, not PLEI's as I hoped, so we should take that away, which leaves £1.71m NAV against a £0.6m m/cap (without getting too fussy over the rest of the Balance Sheet, which is immaterial). If FITB and MES continue to thrive things could get interesting. | rivaldo |
