16/6/2007 17:13 | Suspect we may get results in the next week or so now that Pantheon Leisure PLC have reported. All their floats have been a tad disappointing, except York Pharma plc. However, they are all early stage and so they may come good eventually. York is looking strong with Nigel Wray adding to his holding and news on their key drug due anytime soon. I notice at Companies House that they have recently set up a new shell vehicle RTI 50 as well, so may be a sign of a new float on its way soon. | topvest
13/6/2007 13:13 | L2 3 V 3, 3P THE BID AND SOMEONE SELLS 3 SHARES. A sign!!!! | ursamajorra
06/6/2007 15:30 | Anybody know what Westside Acquisition warrants are currently selling for? Exercise price is 8p I think. | lionelh
05/6/2007 09:11 | Final results due soon? 30th May last year. | maytrees
05/6/2007 08:27 | Remarkably easy to sell online atm albeit only for 3p. Signs of better things to come? | maytrees
20/4/2007 13:05 | Greetings Highland Drovers. My WST are held in a SIPP (not yet profitably alas but I'm still hoping). The SIPP attributes a nil value to the warrants. Since the WST strike share price for their exercise is 8p compared with the current actual buy WST share price of under half that, a nil valuation atm logically seems right. The WST offer share price has hardly moved for months despite the attractions of its investees. | maytrees
20/4/2007 12:16 | Anyone know the value of Westside Warrants? I have just received my nominee account statement and don't trust the valuation on my warrants on the statement. The bank has confirmed the value on the statement and I want to see if others get the same valuation. | highland drovers
13/3/2007 00:43 | Riv Looks an interesting play. Will get to know this stock and its investments a bit better and maybe increase my small holding here. Been looking for a couple of low penny share investments for a while. | greek islander
08/3/2007 22:31 | Hello GI! Dunno - mainly depends on YRK really. WST's NAV is already 7.5p-8p by my estimation, so I suppose you could say it's due for a re-rating if anyone actually picks up on that. Otherwise good news from YRK would put WST back in the frame and it could quickly surge back to 8p as it did in the past. In the meantime there's plenty of downside protection from all that cash and the holdings in all the other companies. CLS is looking better and better, AKG is holding well, PLEI will come good I believe and MES just put out a good RNS. | rivaldo
08/3/2007 10:18 | Riv Ready to take off? | greek islander
27/2/2007 08:56 | Offer now up too, to 4.50p | maytrees
27/2/2007 08:26 | Bid up to 3.75p now for the first time in a while. | rivaldo
26/2/2007 09:34 | Nice tick up. A good day for tiddlers - my other sleepy tiddler BTR is up 20% today on director buying and prospects. | rivaldo
23/2/2007 08:11 | York Pharma share price up again - can't be bad for Westside | maytrees
22/2/2007 21:57 | Yep, looks like YRK's rise is gaining WST some long-overdue attention. You'd expect a discount to NAV for all sorts of reasons (tax, investee illiquidity etc), but WST should imo be trading at around 6p-6.5p against my guesstimated 8p NAV. If YRK rises by 40p another 1p is added to WST's NAV. In addition I believe PLEI, CLS, MES and maybe AKG all look good for rises at some point in the future. Anyone here contacted WST to see if any further spin-outs are likely soon (Topvest?)? | rivaldo
22/2/2007 20:30 | Well I knew my small buy at the open of at 3.85p was not responsible for the share price gain - the later 50,000T trade at 4p must have moved the bid share price N. Hopefully more to come. | maytrees
22/2/2007 08:40 | how are the other investments doing. | lqs
22/2/2007 08:25 | Greetings ursamajorra Your 8p point reflects that in the WST warrants issued last year (at about the time of the divi declaration I recall) free to WST holders exhangeable for WST shares at 8p. It would be good to be able to exchange them at that sp though that currently seems a long way off so dyor. | maytrees
22/2/2007 08:21 | YRK is going to fly this year,£2-£3+ easily acheivable, and when it does i believe WST will be above 8p. DYOR. | ursamajorra
22/2/2007 08:17 | Yesterday's gains in YRK share price like those earlier, are still not reflected in WST share price I Sipped a tiny few more WST just now. Value must eventually be factored into the sp DYOR | maytrees
09/2/2007 18:18 | Another move north today by York Pharma to take Westside's stake to £2.68m. This keeps up the Mcap of WST will be less than the value of their holding in Y Pharma. still holding!!!! | 29palms
08/2/2007 22:17 | Once again today we have another drop while York Pharma goes north!! Todays Mcap is £3.4m while their holding in York is valued at £2.47m The market will have to wake up to this one soon. ....and still holding | 29palms
08/2/2007 09:34 | York Pharma's share price appears to be on the up. Maybe the market will eventually appreciate that Westside holds some good looking investmenst including York. All imho so dyor - I hold WST | maytrees
13/1/2007 08:57 | Bouncing along at the bottom I think. We should get a rise if the news from York Pharma is good. That is their only liquid investment and the next 3-6m will be a critical time period. Anyone spoken to the directors to see if they have any more near term floats coming through? | topvest |
