Maybe...but they have a habit of spending it. I've still got some shares in this dog. They haven't really done anything truly successful in the best part of 10 years. I suspect I will lose the samll value left.

Another small dip - interesting how this share historically falls around this time of year, but in the last 2 years has then risen sharply. I wonder if it will be 3rd time lucky?

The fall in YRK was after WST sold a quarter of their holding. Which was the highest the share price had been for a couple of years prior to that. Looks more like the price is drifting on the lack of news rather than anything else.

No coincidence that the price was marked down prior to his purchase - same old tactics, drop it to flush out weaker holders/trigger stop losses etc.

A very comfortable hold at this level

Haven't checked the NAV recently, but I s'pose it's well down with YRK having declined - probably down to 5p?

Despite this Weston continues his extraordinarily keen buying - he's just bought another 700k and now holds 15.8m or 14.2% of WST:



What does he know? Topvest, any developments on Ethanol 10 PLC maybe?

Assuming the market is stable WST could be on for its usual £1m or so uplift on IPO (which then halves or more as time goes on, but still....).

Rti 50 looks like it's due to do a reverse takeover soon judging from the recent activity at Companies House. Always subject to deal finalisation and market conditions I guess. Wonder what it will be this time?

I've been looking at Messaging Int and Astesk - both look good little companies with potential if you can get in at close to a penny. Will watch for the right entry pt.

Hi topvest, imo the discount is too great, especially as you could allow something for potential - but it wouldn't take much activity to change things drastically!

The outlook paragraph is as you say extremely interesting - the comment about the second half perhaps indicates further IPOs in the next two or three months, assuming stable markets:

"With a strong financial position and a number of new investment opportunities in the pipeline, subject of course to market conditions, we believe that the second half of the year should reflect further progress in the valuation of our
investment portfolio. We look forward to updating shareholders with our
progress."

Results were very encouraging and a bit more informative than the past. At the end of the day, all WST floats so far have been quite impressive (albeit early stage and high risk). A lot depends on York Pharma - noticeable that this was listed second rather than first - Maybe just me, but does that mean they think ADDLeisure has the most potential!!
They mentioned that they have a few more deals in the pipeline which is interesting.
Share price is about right imo - a discount would be expected!

I think I'm right in saying that the uplift from warrants held by WST in its investees aren't included in the interim valuations? If so the actual portfolio is probably worth about £7m against the £4.7m m/cap (haven't chacked for a while).

Until WST achieved a leap in size there may well continue to be a sizeable discount to NAV, especially as most of its holdings are so illiquid. But I have high hopes that YRK, MES, PLEI especially might thrive, ADE seems to be subject to a lot of activity/gossip and AKG and CLS look like solid businesses.

If YRK come through soon then we could see a rise to say 6p sharpish.

With cash balance and investment portfolio exceeding £6.35m announced with today's interims against Mcap of £4.7m this doesn't add up.

Maybe someday the investment community will wake up to this one as the share price is crazy.
