I'd be interested in your views on the similarities of ELF and W7L and the dis - sims, I haven't had the time to look at ELF as much as I'd like due to work and energy levels, but if you can be bothered I'm sure the bb posters would like to know more of your thoughts. I wonder also if there's been much action on the US listing, given that some folk there may think it's another ELF mark 2 - and affordable.
(I've been reading your 'stuff' for a long time when ii had the discussion board and a lot better than now imho).

ELF Beauty up again. Approaching ATH. Market Cap now $11.73 billion. W7L tiny by comparison - but growing fast!

There's a lot of talk about 2027 as it's a big political Chinese year, and the US saying the straits of Taiwan will be a uav grinder

The only drawback I can see is any conflict with China which results in sanctions on a par with Russia/Ukraine.
We all know China has it's eyes on Taiwan, though military means would immediately escalate to involve NATO.
I can see China sabre rattling in the area to show dominance as they are now. Then a slowly slowly catchy monkey political approach to a fiercely independent Taiwan as they did with Hong Kong. China looks 50years ahead, not just 3 or 5 years like in the west.
I don't know the production mix re China vs other countries, though we should be looking at many different countries, though that increases costs for procurement.

If there was a military conflict with China, then I think the stock market generally would tank and most western production would grind to a halt. We have more to lose than them.

Interesting too that many stores start with a 2ft display, but upgrade to 3ft once they see the sales. That alone gives a large increase in turnover.
Possibly say 50% expansion in UK without signing up any more retailers, plus maybe 2x-3x expansion in US without signing up new retailers.
Walmart coming on board in US.

Several years growth without even signing up any new retailers.

Shore Capital have 2024 EPS of 23p, and 30p by 2026, so not on an onerous p/e ratio, and the company seems happy with these numbers.

My 565 tgt reached far quicker than I imagined and exceeded so I sold yesterday as it looks to me overbought in the short term
Will continue to monitor and look to re-enter should it settle back to 500 level

29,300 stores they have yet to enter. Some are too small or unsuitable which leaves 25,000 stores they can roll out in - and that's just with the existing customers, doesn't include all the other retailers they are targeting. And they specifically mention "Planned launches with new major retailers in 2024"

Sam was very optimistic of the new relationship with Walmarts and also said that we could expect some very good news re their exposure in current and new Tesco stores, which i got the feeling was going to be very important. ;-))

Someuwin surprised at no new stuff, was Walmart mentioned? I'd think that was the biggest news...

Great presentation. Nothing particularly new, but they exude confidence and its clear to me they're going to keep outperforming the projections.
