Astonishing run, normally expect a re-trace any moment with a graph like this but fundamentals so positive plus sales actual and potential very encouraging... with xmas peak period just around the corner ... the gift that keeps on giving ..

Fantastic strong move yet again to an ATH. These kind of shares don't come around that often so want to be heavily weighted in them which I am. Good test of the psychology to keep holding and adding to a share with a lot of profit running in it

Seem to have gone from a short disposal phase (Schroders) to a stake building phase. Expecting to see further TR1 RNS perhaps

No idea and I don't think it really matters. Different company but I worked with several VC (hence private) companies in the past and one of them was going through a massive growth phase. The top directors held a large % of the company and the VCs recommended that the directors took a chunk of cash out to ensure that they secured some cash (something in the region of £1m each) but to make sure they psychologically would go for it rather than being too cautious. Couple of years later they exited and the top two (husband and wife) made £200m+ making them one the of the richest couples generated by business ventures in the UK at that time (it was a while ago). When the directors here sold a few a while back it did cross my mind as to whether this was going on here as there is still a long way to go if they can continue to execute.

So, current Warpaint share price is 630p and a fairly elevated PE ratio of 35, for UK markets.

I have just looked at ELF Beauty: share price $210 (up from about $115 a year ago) and a PE of 95!!!!! It doesn't even pay a divi. It seems a good example of how undervalued UK shares are generally, while US ones are relatively overvalued.

At the end of April I read an article about how high the cyclically-adjusted PE (CAPE) is in the US. It's higher than around 2000 and 2021, which both preceded crashes, and is almost double it's long-term average. If it was to mimic the previous declines it would imply a 40% plus reduction in share prices. However, since then the S&P seems to have resumed it's previous trajectory. Let's hope UK markets keep some optimism, though with the general election, the next few days could be shaky.

So to make W7L a bit more liquid in order to buy shares easily must the directors sell a few more. And would they wish to?
Any comments to this will be very welcome, I don't have the necessary knowledge on this aspect at all, not really come across it before.
It seems to be a bit intrinsic to the SP

16p spread on a £6 share at 8:05 on a Monday morning is nothing unusual. It is always wider at the open. And the actual buy and sell price are invariably inside the bid offer price

Schroders have had no choice but to sell as they have constraints on holding over certain percentages of their funds in individual companies, for obvious reasons.

SP has been held back the last week or so) by Schroders selling (for whatever reason). If they've finished, the brakes are off.Only stumbled on Warpaint by accident (courtesy of a mention on the RR thread) but what's not to like? Small amount of shares in issue, no debt, profitable, paying a dividend and in an accelerated growth phase.
