16/7/2019 20:57 | Is Databricks really “new” news? They had a Spark product, launched with them in 2013? Is feels like it is just an update to the new version? I suppose we find out when it launches. hxxps://www.wandisco | hardcastle72
16/7/2019 14:21 | I think it will rally to £8 and get taken out £12+. | maxim1999
16/7/2019 12:44 | SBT I. Think you are correct re buyout.. as a longterm holder I see that as a risk, I would favour the revenue momen tum visibility ...and some form of competitive bid situation into a growing market... we really need new money in here ( institutional) and they wont come in uless we get some beat and raise momentum... I think it all end in a take out , but I was hoping from higher levels .. I fear a sneaky “gotcha” from the big partner.... | knighttokingprawn
16/7/2019 08:44 | KTKP - Agreed. Things seem to be warming up. People want a one-stop-shop for these solutions so this strategy of aligning with higher profile partners is a good one IMO. I think that WAND will get bought out if the share price stays in the current range. SBT | superbobtaylor
16/7/2019 08:29 | Another positive step it seems. Hopefully they can convert these partners to revenue which has been lacking given last year's drop. That said there should be more recurring revenues which are hopefully increasing in value. Am surprised we haven't heard more or anything from Alibaba. | tickboo
16/7/2019 08:26 | SBT Yes you are correct it’s a different partner.. Yesterday’s was disappointingly vague .. which is why we have had such a muted response .. they are doing business underneath all of this IMO .. but a strategic deal and Edison’s positioning didnI think suggest visibility on revenues and who the partner was likely to be .. in many respect yesterday RNS confirmed what the market already knew “ they are working with a strategic partner” I think it gets better from here fwiw | knighttokingprawn
16/7/2019 07:43 | Good tie up with another growing cloud business in Databricks. I am assuming that is a different tie up to that announced yesterday (now even more likely to be MSFT) but yesterdays was so vague I could be wrong.... SBT | superbobtaylor
15/7/2019 09:55 | WAND used to provide a July trading update (before last year's awful interim in Sept) so I assume they will if it's good but won't if poor. Usually around 25 July. | tickboo
15/7/2019 09:50 | Think the live migrator is a stand alone product that can be sold direct or through partners whereas this is embedded so every migration will use fusion through this particular provider. I hope they're working on a deal with Google as well. | tickboo
15/7/2019 09:29 | Tickboo Its a part of the feature set , but todays announcement I think is above and beyond... I think USA will buy this announcement.. | knighttokingprawn
15/7/2019 09:08 | Also with regards to migration how is today's RNS above and beyond the live migrator product launches on 11 June? | tickboo
15/7/2019 08:57 | From the Edison note -We also highlighted that our FY19 revenue forecast included a $7.5m contribution from concluding a strategic deal. No financial details of the deal have been given yet so we make no changes to numbers at this point. Based on previous conversations with the company we believe this partner could provide substantial minimum revenue commitments and will cover a large proportion of the joint product development costs incurred in FY19. However, given the timing of commercial release, customer revenue may not kick in until FY20. | tickboo
15/7/2019 07:24 | Sounds great but to state the bleedin obvious it is a tad light on detail.... Partner, timeframe and commercials all unknown. However tighter integration with one of the big boys is where to company need to go. Hopefully is with MSFT or AWS. SBT | superbobtaylor
15/7/2019 07:14 | KTKP, I agree, its a big deal, but think the statement said ''working with one of the largest'' cloud providers. reading the whole thing I concluded MSFT, but, heyho ! | bg23
15/7/2019 07:10 | tickboo, Bloomberg report case thrown out, see also: hxxps://techcrunch.c | bg23
15/7/2019 07:06 | Its a big deal... this will embed WAND Into a large players stack... suspect this is Azure..., whats not to like? | knighttokingprawn
15/7/2019 06:12 | Yet another co-development project, any chance of some actual money being earned for a change, lol | owenski
12/7/2019 15:25 | The trial started yesterday so saying it's been thrown out is premature. Maybe it's inevitable but there's another week at least left. | tickboo
12/7/2019 15:20 | The decision may have been leaked but is due to be announced on or soon after 19th. Some big sells going through though. | tickboo
12/7/2019 14:30 | someone tweeting that oracles legal challenge to the award of the Jedi contract has been lost. ..... perhaps they can get on with awarding the contract now | bg23
01/7/2019 09:49 | The Edison notes always read well. They'd better secure that strategic deal given -Our forecasts also include $7.5m and $10m, respectively, from securing a 'strategic deal' but, admittedly, the timing and size of these payments is unclear. If they don't then does the forecast come down to $23.5m? I assumed the deal was JEDI but who knows. Some big trades have gone through again so maybe it's about to head north. | tickboo
01/7/2019 09:28 | Edison have come out with quite a detailed upsdate this morning. haven't had a chance to read properly but they are targeting an 89% pickup in revenue for this year to $31m hxxps://www.edisongr | bg23
28/6/2019 08:33 | Gotta wonder if the company wont get taken out at some stage. It would be pocket change for any of their partners and their IP appears to be "ahead" of the market. Makes a lot of sense to me. SBT | superbobtaylor
28/6/2019 07:41 | I imagine if there is something big about to kick off it will be in August after the US court case re the JEDI contract as it can't be awarded before then. Given wand's latest product which enables easier transfer of data to the cloud I can't see how AWS or Azure wouldn't use that tech. Remember it took some 6 months to move Daimler Chrysler to Azure with fusion so it sounds like that could now be massively reduced and simplified. | tickboo |
