04/1/2019 00:07 | Share price will go where ever the trading update in the next few weeks take us. I don'think they will get away with stating the pipe line is building etc, for forward statements. 2017 total Rev was $22.5 million, whats the guess for 2017? Tickboo whats the running total we have so far from 1H plus the RNS's plus Edison vid of the CFO, I imagine you've been counting? | qruz
03/1/2019 23:46 | Anybody have a view as to where the share price goes? I am in loss here. I did average down but the share price fell even further than I thought. | maxim1999
03/1/2019 21:04 | Although it took a lot longer than Azure to integrate fusion into its products I'm surprised we haven't had any contract win RNSs through Alibaba. I hope we get some soon. Alibaba's cloud revenue is growing massively so I hope the RNSs will come soon. | tickboo
03/1/2019 20:18 | They have the routes to market, needs to start showing some fruit from these partnerships, todays contract was WAND direct sale and not partnership, time to see some traction from IBM et al. | owenski
03/1/2019 18:17 | Definite agreement there. According to Edison (under direction from wand) they 2019 will be its maiden year of profitability. What we need to see is a good start to the year which was missing last year. With Azure bedded in and hopefully new products to be launched with IBM (although contribute H2) as well as Alibaba generating meaningfully they have no more excuses. | tickboo
03/1/2019 18:08 | I hope you are correct, however 2019 is a year when income has to be greater than expenditure, the days of "bread tomorrow" are coming to an end. | jackdaw4243
03/1/2019 17:50 | I also expect Alibaba to contribute significantly in 2019. They OEM RNS came a little bit before Azure but it took a lot longer to integrate the tech (as stated in an Edison note). Alibaba is a smaller player but growing more than the rest and will surely be important to wand.WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the Live Data Company, announces it has entered into a non-exclusive OEM ('Original Equipment Manufacturer') sales agreement with Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group.Under the sales agreement, WANdisco Fusion, a solution that seamlessly replicates transactional data at petabyte scale without downtime or disruption, will be sold as a standard component on Alibaba Cloud, covering several key aspects including Live Data migration to Alibaba Cloud, Alibaba Cloud for disaster recovery and hybrid big data with Alibaba Cloud. The partnership represents a substantial increase in WANdisco's addressable market and a significant extension of its channel strategy. | tickboo
03/1/2019 17:45 | I believe they have an OEM deal with Azure all but in name. 12 March RNS and given they secured 3 contracts not long after they hit the ground running. As a result, WANdisco can now take the WANdisco Fusion(R) Live Data Platform to market as a packaged offering with Microsoft Azure. WANdisco's dedicated partner managers will work directly with the Microsoft Field Sales Team on Hybrid Cloud customer opportunities and related account planning activities.WANdisco Fusion(R) provides continuous replication of selected data at scale between multiple Big Data and cloud environments. With guaranteed data consistency and continuous availability, Microsoft Azure customers will now have easy access to the cost-saving benefits of WANdisco Fusion's(R) hybrid architecture for on-demand data analytics and offsite disaster recovery. | tickboo
03/1/2019 17:36 | Last year ? I think they will EGRA. Pass on evidence of proper traction with MSFT sand reengagement with IBM ( both likely) .. I see where people are coming from on the 2018 .. numbers but a MSFT Oem deal would trump all of the issues around what they should have done last year ... I think Msft and their directvteam arevthe future .. IBM aid still a channel that I don’t have a tonne of confidence in .. but WanD get it , and MSFT now get it .. and that’s the story of 2019.. | knighttokingprawn
03/1/2019 17:08 | High Park I must confess to be anticipating a retrace Friday close of play. | jackdaw4243
03/1/2019 16:45 | I hope/expect they're near to market forecasts probably not too much ahead as I'm sure we'd know about it. To be fair the last 3 RNSs are all material, the largest ever cloud deal $3m through Azure, the first disaster recovery win and finally the first multi-cloud deal won with AWS. I'm hoping we get some more elephant IBM deals RNS'd in the coming days. | tickboo
03/1/2019 16:42 | But there be's some long tunnels too | volsung
03/1/2019 16:36 | The train has already left the station. But plenty of stations up ahead. | high park
03/1/2019 16:31 | The overriding statement will relate to last years accounts. This good news is coming at the year end, lets hope its not a smoke screen to cover up a year that fell far short of predictions by the CEO. However I still want to be on the train when and if it leaves the station. | jackdaw4243
03/1/2019 16:24 | Fair play, profit is always good! I think we'll see a few more RNSs like today's in the short term. I could be wrong though and usually am. | tickboo
03/1/2019 16:04 | Sold !! that will pay for Christmas and tyres on the car. | jackdaw4243
03/1/2019 15:09 | I'm surprised it's gone as high as this and with little volume. Perhaps the market likes the fact the revenue will be recognised in 2018 so more likely forecasts will be met or thereabouts. It could be due to the fact it's the first contract of its kind and more expected to follow as it's obvious most large clients won't want to be locked in to one vendor. Or the fact wand worked with AWS to win this and have recently announced deals through Azure and IBM. Anyway, long may it continue and hopefully more such RNSs in the short term. | tickboo
03/1/2019 14:59 | Good to see 5.52 paid which is above the last raise. About time. I don't expect another cash call and hopefully the trading update (probably the week after next) will reinforce that. As I said I take comfort from the fact they've said that strategic deals are under negotiation so we should hear more news in the coming days and or weeks. | tickboo
03/1/2019 14:34 | Hornblower ; thanks for response. I need some alpha on a bad apple day :-) | knighttokingprawn
03/1/2019 14:03 | It's certainly light on volume and it will no doubt sink back with profit taking. However, the £5 barrier is important both psychologically and from the chart pov and powering through that is significant as there appear to be few opportunistic sellers and there are still some enthusiastic buyers. | horneblower
03/1/2019 13:46 | It's just over 0.1% shares traded which is more than a little light! Hopefully we'll get more positive contract RNSs to ensure it stays up here. | tickboo
03/1/2019 13:26 | Horneblower , does the volume impact at all on your technical view? It looks a bit light and I normally associate breakout moves with volume .. ( i am not a chartist ) | knighttokingprawn
03/1/2019 13:13 | I'd certainly take £12 by mid year! I'm expecting to get some chunky contract wins as they've said in two notes strategic deals are under negotiation. Hopefully the US gov contract (Jedi) is one of them, now that will be a big one! I can't see that they'd move massive amounts of data to the cloud and not use fusion. We'll see. | tickboo
03/1/2019 12:39 | This is a chart I put up about three weeks ago showing the possibility of bouncing down off £5. Today it has powered through that barrier and is looking extremely strong. It may fall back a bit from here but my expectation is that it will forge on back to £12 probably by mid-year. | horneblower |
