08/1/2019 09:35 | True which is why I hope we get another chunky contract win before the update.Good to see IBM has been winning smaller contracts not RNS'd which fits with their new focus. Surely these recurring contracts should increase in value (assuming data needs increase) so FY19 forecasts may be revised higher. I guess management will speak to analysts and we may get a revised update after end of Jan or Feb. | tickboo
08/1/2019 09:16 | Does vary a lot, as I said earlier, it is what price you set your limit at, but moves are pretty strong either way on news! | bookbroker
08/1/2019 09:16 | I imagine many agree with you given the low volume so are waiting to see what the update brings. | tickboo
08/1/2019 09:14 | The spread is 10p which with a price of over £5 represents less than 2%?!Re cash burn I agree we haven't heard of many deals but they're going after cloud deals which are smaller in value ($100k or so) and increase over time as needs change and are recurring. We should know soon enough but there may be some cash burn but I bet we'll have $15m or more cash left. | tickboo
08/1/2019 09:11 | I find it hard to believe the cash burn will be neutral, the flow of contracts has been less than expected, still not writing this off, but I believe a lower entry point is posssible, spread for me too wide currently, not that this is relevant, but the possibility of disappointment outweighs the positive until clarity from the company. | bookbroker
08/1/2019 09:08 | I hope for another contract RNS before the trading update. My bet is H2 will be neutral re cash burn so they'll be near to forecast although I feel a little short. As long as they still have nearly $18m cash and with Azure, IBM gaining momentum and hopefully Alibaba and the other partners H1 19 should be closer to H218 rather than H1 18 which was a disaster with the new model being implemented. JEDI gov contract should be awarded this quarter too! | tickboo
08/1/2019 08:56 | Bought a few | volsung
08/1/2019 08:03 | Cool news! | bamboo2
08/1/2019 07:57 | Still nothing from Alibaba. I wonder if they've won smaller projects of $100k so not deemed material but surely even a small win is worth announcing if the maiden win. The trading update should give us an idea.Good to see things improving with IBM though. Come on Oracle et al! | tickboo
08/1/2019 07:36 | Happy New Year to you and all. | tickboo
08/1/2019 07:36 | Good to see NPD as promised and other wins not deemed material so probably $100-$200k through IBM -WANdisco's relationship with IBM strengthened significantly in 2018 as the Group increased its royalty percentage to 50% (previously 30%) and agreed a guaranteed annual royalty commitment. New customers with IBM were secured in insurance, banking, telecommunications and with the US Government. This also from DR-Our close relationship with IBM was built upon further in 2018 with an increased royalty percentage and substantial client contracts. Good to hear. Hopefully the trading update next week shows no cash burn in H2 so still $18m cash and we get a revised and improved FY19 forecast with FY18 achieved or thereabouts. | tickboo
07/1/2019 22:34 | Happy New year all - nice bounce over the festive season and some good news to hand ones hat on...I never really understand the fixation of more sells than buys etc...in these days of expensive capital market makers wont be sitting on much stock...so for every sale there has to be a matching buy...what I would say that a large seller preXmas would have moved the mkt a lot more...so there does seem to be some good support around here! Fingers crossed... | redrag1
07/1/2019 18:55 | It it’s an algo trade , it’s likely telling us what we already know .. technically this is not much of a move ( yet) little volume .. so a mean reverting trigger linked to volume ? | knighttokingprawn
07/1/2019 18:25 | Algo trading according to London Stock Exchange site- This link will start again with tomorrows trades. | melton john
07/1/2019 18:08 | I noticed that too although the large majority are sells so not sure that bodes well. As someone said there seems to be support at 5 so hopefully that holds. | tickboo
07/1/2019 17:42 | Looking at the trade volume I ask myself why are the majority of trades marked "AT", a normal trade is "O" that is a standard trade made through the Market Makers. "AT" is an automatic trade generated by SETS through the order book (Whatever that means) "B" is broker to broker. I think some of these "AT" trades at 1500 a go are part of a protected transaction "T". The entire transaction is reported after the deal is complete as it could greatly alter the stock price. The buyer or seller wishes to keep the order anonymous. See what Tuesday brings | jackdaw4243
05/1/2019 10:55 | Spread for a lot of the day was less than 2% (8p between buy and sell prices). Anyway, good to hold onto £5 and let's see what next week brings. More contract RNSs and hopefully they've closed a chunky one under negotiation. | tickboo
04/1/2019 17:39 | Always found one can deal within the spread. | owenski
04/1/2019 17:37 | Always a wide spread, that is fairly narrow for this company, but does not necessarily mean ur trade will be dealt at the bid/offer, too wide in my book, shows liquidity pretty poor! | bookbroker
04/1/2019 17:32 | Big spread, sell at around £5.00 plus buys at 5.20 plus, maybe some one is playing games. | jackdaw4243
04/1/2019 15:45 | Looking like support now at 500 | owenski
04/1/2019 15:26 | You called it right re today's drop so with hindsight I should have sold a couple of thousand and bought back and made several hundred quid. I do think another contract RNS or more will drop any day so I'm holding. Hopefully we get at least one next week. | tickboo
04/1/2019 14:21 | Someone just unloaded 20,000 so now total sells 52k, buys 16k. | jackdaw4243
04/1/2019 09:48 | When I say there should be a fair few smaller jobs not subject to an RNS there are case studies on the wand website that illustrate this. There's one with Micron technology and DR puts a few on LinkedIn which are from last year. My bet is we miss the revenue figure but only a little bit and no cash burn in H2. I also reckon (by Edison notes talking about big deals under negotiation) we'll get at least one more chunky contract win RNS before the update in 2 weeks or so. | tickboo
04/1/2019 09:13 | Revenue on H1 was only $5.7m or under IAS(2) : $6.6m as stated. We had $10m to be realised in H2As well as a $3m win of which most to be realised in H2, a $1m source code win (not sure bow much last year), a $750,000 back up win and $565,000 win to be billed last year and a $200,000 kick off in Oct. This comes to around $15.5m. Bookings in H1 were $9m and there should be some smaller $100k to $200k ones as well as additional projects from existing clients. Should be close to the figure of $24.7m in Edison note which would mean H2 is profitable (hence they forecast as slight upturn in cash). We'll see. | tickboo |
