14/4/2020 08:35 | 'VR Education (AIM: VRE; Euronext Growth: 6VR), a leading virtual reality ('VR') technology company focused on the education and enterprise training space, is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with US-based VictoryXR, a world leader in VR and augmented reality ('AR') content creation for schools and education, for the use of the Group's ENGAGE platform. VictoryXR specialises in US-based science curriculum content and virtual animal dissections, both in the VR and AR space. To date VictoryXR has created more than 240 unique VR and AR learning experiences spanning more than 50 different learning units. VR Education's ENGAGE platform is a world leading education, training and communications tool used by educators and enterprise clients to provide remote training, distance learning and, most recently, as a platform to provide global virtual events. VR Education and VictoryXR have agreed terms of a revenue share agreement, in which VictoryXR will import its extensive content library onto the ENGAGE platform and provide its services remotely to school children across the US. Students using the platform will be both in physical schools and home schooled children, including those whose access to traditional learning methods have been impacted by COVID-19. Qualified educators will run live virtual classes via ENGAGE and additional educational content produced by VictoryXR will be available for replay via the platform. Commenting on the partnership agreement, Steve Grubbs, CEO of VictoryXR, said: "VictoryXR is taking school inside virtual reality with ENGAGE. Students will learn with the best teachers and have the best learning labs, all in an interactive virtual world. "We view ENGAGE as the platform, much like the iPhone is the platform for world of apps. VictoryXR will build a VR school curriculum app on top of this platform which gives every school and every student access to the best equipment, the best teachers and the most effective learning." | hazl

14/4/2020 08:29 | What a great announcement! | hazl
07/4/2020 12:19 | If HTC confirm the strategic partnership with VRE, that should give this stock some legs! There is so much that is relevant now, online socialising, online education, online business meetings, none of which will go away when Covid-19 retreats (but will not disappear). It will take years for the flying habit to return but immersive experiences will be demanded in place of the physical. | bones
07/4/2020 12:09 | See that VRE has posted a new ENGAGE video on their LinkedIn account, the video can also be watched on YouTube at hxxps://youtu.be/JfO LinkedIn account reads as follows: When my team was asked to present a deck remotely on XR collaboration and education via a Crowdcast video stream they said no we can do better. Chris and Steven setup a live desktop stream directly from inside our ENGAGE platform and broadcast it to the attendees on Crowdcast. The below is just a short cut down clip from the 20 minute presentation. The full presentation can be seen on Youtube here hxxps://lnkd.in/d94D Comment Gerwyn Williams I attended this live stream, the presentation stood out because it was so immersive (as you'd expect). The sound quality was also excellent, which made it even more enjoyable. I'm very excited about this particular VR product, it solves a number of immediate challenges for remote learning & general collaboration as we all try to deal with school closures and home working. David Whelan The reason audio is solid is because we have very low bandwidth requirements for standard communications much lower then zoom for instance. We only transmit audio as .mp3 and positional data in text format. An hour long piece of content or talk recorded with 50 users inside ENGAGE is only 90mbs. The same for video based platforms at low quality is 2gb. We could alleviate many of the web issues today if everybody used us instead of video based solutions. I have often connected 4 standalone VR devices to my phones 4G connection for ENGAGE demos with no issues. Only time I see a drop off is when I try stream 360 video which is very bandwidth heavy. 30/3/2020 21:57 | There was a piece on a bbc programme this morning discussing VRE and Engage with the recent HTC Vive VR conference they hosted. So we’re still awaiting annual reports and any announcements regarding new partnerships etc. But yeah a perfect storm in terms of working from home demand, with social distancing likely being the norm for many more months, quality headsets becoming more available at pricepoints suitable for the mass market, Half Life Alyx being launched last week and going down so well, and other general improvements throughout VR.. we’re kind of at this melting pot stage where R&D starts moving towards growth and profit making phases. Also 5G tech probably will add to the demand, although I’m not as buoyant about that as there is a lot of research to suggest that it has many negative impacts on humans, at different strengths. @Hazl yes we’ve been in here for some very rough times, hopefully we’ll see bluer skies ahead..! :) | lukejfmccann
