I read it on a news item this morning. They halted everything but then when they restarted it came into their screens again and the whole event was cancelled.Be interesting to know if VRE has addressed this sort of issue. It may be down to the way they transmit as they transmit data not video?

Zoom in trouble as software allows child porn to be displayed during event.Got to be good for VRE. Let's hope our software stops it

TONYS8 Yes I thought ZOOM was all singing all dancing but seems little old VRE has it's edge.
Not only that, but worth noting from the confidentiality angle, you mention, Zoom's software comes from China.

An excellent couple of posts hazl. The UK government could use this for the House of Commons. At the moment they're limited to 50 actual MPS in the House and a hundred via Zoom.

'The Hyve conference is normally an event that delegates attend but as it was due to be held in China, HTC asked VRE if it could host the event virtually.

Dave Whelan, VRE's chief executive, says it had over 1,000 people log on at the event through its virtual reality software platform Engage.

Speakers and attendees from Europe and the US were able to interact with visitors from China while over 1.1million watched the live streaming of the conference.

Since the Hyve event, enquiries since taken off from organisers all over the world says Whelan, with the business having to employ additional business development staff to handle the workload.'
