Take a look back at what they have paid out for each new company over the last few years, [but exclude the 2 big ones they are going to keep.] The football ones cost over £5M ABG.£3M and a host of others lets say another £5M. Good chance with the growth they have seen, should get that amount back, plus rid themselves of a few high paid directors. Those lot would only mean selling 13% of the company but could pay off big bits of bank debt.

This company is going to go up rather fast in my view. A few pointers, first the huge bank loan was handed out by the bank at the very time new loans were like gold dust. [Oct 08]WHY DID THE BANK LOAN THE CASH.?The int rate of the vast lump of the £16m loan is now just 3% PA. Soon FAN will sell off unwanted bits of the company to clear the 3.5m loan that costs 11% per year. This means that the service cost of the loans falls to a tiny £300,000 PA. With cost cutting done and a turnover of 70m plus PA i am looking at a 20 bagger from here over the next 18 months.

Note the change date for accounts, to me thats when the deals to sell the bits off go through. Cash from the sales pays off debt, shares go up big time, then bid for the cash cow [ie the west end lump] of 3-4 quid a share.

I wonder what eps forecasts are now;
PP's figures above are obviously from another era!

hopefully the use the cash flow to pay down the debt agressively and gearing kicks in!

Does look good, theatre relatively recession proof, football obviously is so all in all a good result. Would be a good time to sell the footie side and eliminate debt. Good to see repayment off Mezz debt, should reduce financing costs disproportionately.

a little disappointing last day Transfer activity but hopefully FAN took their fair share of the revenue on offer.

sorry I am confused by your entries

Your opening entry suggests target price of £2 but 3 of 4 suggests takeover bid, surely you are not suggesting bid of £2

Perhaps you could clarify your thoughts

many thanks

With the debt down a bid MUST be on the cards.

We will see huge re rating on the sale, of non core bits. The wealth part of the company will sell for a lot more than you might expect. Football bit has to be worth 5m-10m can be run by an office of 6.

Todays price of 18p puts a value on FAN to go bust any day. However parts of the company are being sold to reduce debt, its core Market Broadway, and the West End are roaring. Look at the turnover, costs have been slashed, and two pounds is the target share price in 6 months time.

Just browsing thru the Scandinavian website of the football side and there are a load of updates dated August - now I do not understand the lingo and was wondering if they are likely to be transfer. Anyone help?

If I am right then a heck of a lot of activity. May help the sale price too.
