The global battery electric cars market will reach 52m by 2025 (IEA Electric vehicle stock in the EV3030 scenario 2018-2030). Volex provides high-current power cords with numerous safety features to this fast-growing market. Tesla delivery of more than 180,000 vehicles during the fourth quarter was a record Volkswagen AG pulled well ahead of Tesla Inc. in battery-electric vehicle sales last year as Europe’s incumbent carmakers rose to the challenge from Elon Musk’s Model 3. Volex supplies both

Off topic - but I was really impressed by Sri Lanka when I visited there a couple of years ago. As a country and as a people they deserve to do well I think. They really need some decent roads though - it's a bit chicken and egg, no infrastructure, no foreign investment, no foreign investment, no infrastructure.

Nat preparing the ground for a new Sri Lankan facility...? "Just finished a trip to learn first hand about SL’s suitability as a manufacturing location for electronics. Came away highly impressed by govt of @PresRajapaksa and its pandemic response as well as the businesses I met. SL is a true gem with a great future. #GoSL #SriLanka" 6:47 AM ยท Jan 21, 2021 HTTPS://twitter.com/NatRothschild1/status/1352145798700666880

Depends what the fund rules are. They might have no choice but to sell down. I don't know why Downing are selling but it seems contrary to the recent narrative and the growth of the markets VLX operate in. This is a general rule, not specific advice for VLX, getting 'cheap' shares when instis or others are forced sellers is recognised as a good way for PIs gain an edge. One needs to make their own mind up if that applies in this case :)
