18/12/2020 09:20 | A valid question but one that could be asked of any company taken private at any price. | v11slr
18/12/2020 09:19 | That would be a very foolish move. Volex is acquisition hungry. An attraction for sellers is getting some of the payment in Volex shares. A track record of a rising Volex share price post acquisition will encourage management of privately owned businesses to sell to Volex at earnings enhancing (for Volex) p/e's, because the vendors can ride the upside. If Volex went private, acquisitions would be much harder to come by and Volex would have to pay more for them. | inever
18/12/2020 09:11 | But he could have tried that at 32p, or at any rate under £1 - but didn't - so why try now? | imastu pidgitaswell
18/12/2020 09:05 | As we know, Nat Rothschild is the majority shareholder. He is only a few % off the trigger level for having to make a bid for the outstanding share capital. This is worth bearing in mind, as he and his supporting institutions are now in a position to take VLX private to capture future value for themselves. Time will tell. | disneydonald
18/12/2020 08:15 | Above the magic, £3 barrier now. | igoe104

17/12/2020 16:49 | I want 400p but may have to revisit that target with new acquisitions on the horizon, plus how rapid the ev market grows. | patient fox

17/12/2020 14:23 | Yes 2021 is certainly looking good for Volex, should be the start ( or continuation rather ) of what I hope will be something of a golden decade for them. | its the oxman
17/12/2020 11:24 | Wouldn't be surprised to see this been tipped heavy as the tip for 2021, I know share watch were talking about in as a possible nap. | igoe104
16/12/2020 20:25 | Honda already said they are not making petrol or diesel cars beyond 2022 - only all-electric or hybrid. | grabster
16/12/2020 16:36 | I can see more car companies investing their ideas in EV, hardly any point bringing out petrol/ diesel ideas when governments around the world are talking about banning them. | igoe104
16/12/2020 12:47 | 1st all electric Ford being released today in US....Volex EV client , of course. | miti 1000

10/12/2020 00:55 | Just to mention that the Xmas special MelloMonday BASH will feature Volex on the 14th December and I think shareholders and potential investors will appreciate the analysis. The Mello Monday event starts at 6pm The full programme is available on the website. In the MelloBASH... The analysts, fund manager and well known investors on the panel will give their honest verdicts on whether four/five companies are a Buy Avoid Sell or Hold at this current juncture in the markets. All investors welcome and if you use the code MMTADVFN50 you will get a half price ticket. Great investor content and entertainment. We had nearly 400 investors attend last month so these are very popular. | davidosh |
