16/5/2007 10:22 | powwow read lemming and get in early. We have found a nickel stock which reflects 75p a tonne for the contained nickel worth 13% of the $50,000/T refined Ni market price ie worth $6500/T. Subs were able to got into VDS at around 60p. No matter VDS still has a long way to go. Visit the Broadcast Live Show at Earls Court 19-21 June and judge for yourself, but I am sure that there will be more announcements of contract wins beforehand. The pace is accelerating.. | scrutable
16/5/2007 10:05 | I agree wish I'd got some at 40p. | powwow

16/5/2007 09:26 | treborbob IPTV offers the ultimate in timeshift. I can rarely remember to make myself available for a desired programme - mostly I am late for it through travel or see that I have missed it when I am first aware that it is scheduled. IPTV resolves this time management problem. The IPTV field is like a marathon with hundreds of spindly runners - some with characters of steel and well trained but VDS is out in front and will I believe gradually extend the lead and then begin to stand out. It's an oak tree at the seedling stage. | scrutable
16/5/2007 09:14 | Scrutable, I have to wonder for how long Vividas will remain independent? | witten

16/5/2007 09:07 | I believe that the VDS version of IPTV brings it to a level that will add marginally to the quality of life on a global scale. | scrutable

16/5/2007 09:02 | I believe that the following event will finally establish VDS 'on the main screen' ie prove to shift the paradigm - so to speak. I will certainly visit the stand. from TVBE Online Current Issue TVBE Newsletter Subscribe to TVBE's weekly newsletter Earls Court trains for Broadcast LIVE - Thursday, 10 May 2007 With all the news from NAB still fresh in our minds, we look forward to the next broadcasting event of the year, Broadcast LIVE 2007. From the 19-21 June at Earls Court 2, this exhibition will cover all aspects of the content chain through Create, Manage and Deliver. This year, the theme is Future Proof or Future Shock, writes Fergal Ringrose. As well as a headline timetable of influential industry speakers, there will also be over 200 exhibitors reflecting the content chain through the Create, Manage and Deliver zones. Free training sessions will also feature in each area, to give you a first-hand look at a truly tapeless post production workflow designed and integrated on the exhibition floor. There are many new exhibitors at Broadcast LIVE this year. JVC, Apple UK and Panasonic are some of the better-known entrants. Companies such as Vividas and C3, who are situated right at the cutting edge of the new broadcasting platforms, will be dedicating special pod zones to both IPTV and mobile technologies........ | scrutable

Sail TV has appointed Dargo the VDS joint venture co in Spain, as its technology partner. Using Vividas VivStream Pay Per View streaming technology, Viewers in 134 countries, where Live TV coverage is not available (including Australia, Japan, The Netherlands, etc.) will be able to receive full screen, high quality live coverage of the key races of the 32nd America's Cup, to be held in Valencia, Spain - the first ever European location.
